King, Read the responses to your stupid post. Get to grips with what the Ferrarichat community is all about. Then go elsewhere and get a life. |

King, Perhaps you meant for "reader" to be plural? Most educated people would have. If "reader" is singular, then which "reader" were you referring to? Perhaps you meant to insert an article, such as "the," before your "singular" reader. Any shot at an intelligent debate here is probably thrown out the window. Nobody here knows you--which isn't necessarily a bad thing--but making an ass-clown of yourself on your first post is not the way to stir up a useful discussion. If *you* would read the posts on this board, you would discover your questions have been answered, Ace!

What the F is going on with this site? I used to really enjoy reading it, but now it is clogged with mindless drivel and insults. I have stopped posting as much because I figure this is not AOL Instant Messenger so no need to reply to every little comment. If you have nothing of value to add then just read and be quiet. |

Yes you are right, people do ask simple questions. They ask because they dont know the answer. There are no stupid questions, just stupid people. One primary purpose of this site is for people to share knowlege, one way of doing that is asking and answering questions. |

Reader is singular, thus, reader's. You guys are a breed that is really, really hard to believe. Just look at your writings and judge yourself instead of me. Let us try again: 1) Is there a site for exotic car model collectors? Let's add auto memorabilia as well. 2) It seems the goal of some readers here is to just run up the level of messages they have and ask such elementary automobile question that it just clogs the entire board. Mr King, sir, ahhhh, maybe you can answer my question (no one here seems to know). My wife and I always disagree on the fuel for her 328. At the pump she uses high test GAS. I know it would run better on diesel. My shop teacher told me that many years ago while I was building a birdhouse. Gee thanks. |

This King character, what a crock of . The problem is, younger people like me just didn't grow up around carbs and valves (more along the lines of java code and modems). When I bought my 308, I didn't know what a valve is. But now, King, I could school your ass in a few things automotive, of that you can be assured. What goes on on this board is a transfer of knowledge. I've learned more about valves, carbs, camshafts, cylinders, and spark plugs from people much more knowledgeable than I am than I care to relate to you. But rather than get my panties in too much of a bunch over your pointless mutterings, I'll just take the opportunity to instead thank everybody for their generosity in sharing their knowledge. You've turned a computer geek into a wrench, and thanks to you there's one more 308 out there with a good home. Oh yeah, and it's readers', and not reader's. It's called a plural possessive. Yeah, so you might want to brush up on that "Junior High Grammar." --Mike 78 308 GTS #23785 Albuquerque, NM |

**Bow** Hail to the King!! I will be the first one to admit that I am one of those junior high-level and mechanically challenged people that frequent this site. But, as an owner of 2 drivable Ferraris and numerous desktop versions, I find the so-called "junior high" level contributions to be very useful indeed. |

Hey "king", did you read the tech section? you are one dumb human being, i wonder how you are still alive. Guys, pay no attention to these trolls. They feel the need to act out to get attenion (LMAO). Lets not trouble this poor soul any more as we should pity him for his worthless life. hes obviously the same group as tonny, qopmobile, etc that come from the vette and supra sites that james posts links to our worst threads at. thanks james! note:im not angry at this guy, i just feel the need to make him question the worth of his life. i normally dont "play hardball" with my insults as i just did. |

After reading this guy's post again, I think he's looking for a site for model car collectors.... Anson, Burago, Mattel, etc. Things you have to glue together with small decals, etc. (Trying to give him the benefit of the doubt). |

Ed- This is not a rough crowd! Any normal person reading the post from King might become ROUGH! King - I don't even make contributions in F-chat. I am still in Primary level and don't know how to locate the valves yet! Have you ever studied in primary or high school or you were already graduate and drove a Ferrari when you were 14?! Show us your great knowledge so that I would not waste my time. |

His junior high school must have been pretty advanced for 2 reasons. First, I've only seen HIGH schools with auto shop. Second, they were working on Ferraris. Must have been Beverly Hills Junior High.

King seems to ask an intelligent question. As a source of Ferrari owners, he figures some of you collect models. Perhaps you belong to an internet group that he would be interested in. A reasonable post. The 'Junior High Auto Shop' part is a pretty sophisticated aside when you stop to think. He says the technical talk wasts his time, but why phrase a request for help with implying we're boring? To get people to volunteer information? Alas, no. Ah, a pot stirrer trying to get critical mass! I can smell him. We do attract some interesting flotsom, huh? |

King, that's a pretty obnoxious thing to say... i've never come across so much information... This site is a gold mine AND IT'S FREE, TOO...! All that aside, (most of) the people here are really awesome... You should reconsider what you've said and i certainly think an apology is in order... There are people from all around the world posting here, giving incite and information into literally thousands of different topics, on a multitude of car makers and hundreds of models... James Glickenhaus, for instance, with his stupifying array of cars... Chris Parr with his F40 (among other things)... L. Wayne Ausbrooks with his infinite pool of knowledge on everything from the very first Ferrari ever built, all the up to my friggin' Sentra- and this is just to name a few people in a large group of awesome owners and enthusiasts who inhabit a site created by a guy keeps it going, tirelessly... Say you're sorry... |

King, welcome to FChat! I find your first post an interesting one. You said this site is a waste of your time(you're certainly allowed that opinion) yet you have chosen to take the time to both register and post. Why is that? If you choose to stick around I think you will find that this site is a vast pool of information and great personalities. |

This is a website 'For, about, by Ferrari owners/enthusiasts.' As the Ferrari King, you should know that the questions asked on this site offer a benifit of most of Ferrari owners, prospectve owners, and enthusiasts. If the content of this site is beneath your automotive skills and knowledge, maybe instead of complaining you could help. Just a thought. By the way, welcome to Fchat! |

What kind of valves are you refering to King? Ball valves, needle valves, petal valves, flapper valves, sodium filled valves, rotary valves, gate valves, sleeve valves? Please be more specific. Some of us didn't graduate from your Junior High Auto Shop. |

Aren't there any websites for model collectors and people who cannot adjust valves or even know what a valve is for that matter? A large percentage of contributions here lean toward Junior High Auto Shop and waste reader's time. King |
