A true GT! He must have some serious stones to leave it parked on the street for a week.

Incidentally it was a 550 that Ferrari took all the way down to Terra del Fuego (South of Argentina) to prove a point about its rougedness in cold weather climate. There is a short report about it on the F World Club DVD.

*OUCH* (the Barchetta)

Cool beans on the 550 though. (even though salt is the one place I won't take my fcar. or any car I really care about :p rain/clean-show is all fine though, newer Fcars won't melt.)

Best!
Ben.

Wild! Now, just *where* in France was this taken? I don't know if licesne plates are regional, but when I lived in France (studied there for a while...) I had a plate "500 AHB 06" IIRC. Granted, that was on a 1.0L Ford Fiesta (ah, very different animal!)

That was in the south of France, in the Antibes / Nice / Cannes / Mougins area. This picture has that general feel, but I don't recognize it for sure...

Anybody know with authority?

On a different note, up there with the deep blues, these titanium colors really do it for me!

Rust forms in a few hours or less, its nothing that wont come off after driving 100ft.

Ferrari's were raced in the snow. Monte Carlo Rallye. I've driven mine in the snow many times.

Ils sont foux, les francais!

Probably was so hard to find a parking in the streets of Paris (?), that the guy just didn't want to give it up. Obviously they don't know about the chairs in Chicagoland...

People with a lot of money think of cars like this, like I think about my chevy. It goes in the snow also. Its all relative.
