Here's another pic of the dealer's autos from a different post.

yeah - that is a cool painting! i hadn't even noticed - what a dope i am!

at Aston Martin New England in Brighton MA (also the Lotus dealer for N.E.), they have a huge blow up of what apparently is a famous picture of a 250 LM (?) in the pits with flames everywhere from a fuel fire. the picture is mid-conflagration and when it's blown up to 12' by 12' or so it's just completely terribly frightening. not sure why you'd put this front and center of your sales floor, but it's WAY cool!

does anybody know the picture? can you post a copy?

The wheels are cool, but the big painting in the foreground is awesome...!

Norman; those are optional modular wheels.

Personally, I think I'm going to order the stock wheels on my 575. I much prefer them ofer this look - the modular wheels feel too 'busy.' I will reserve final judgement to see them in prson, but in accord with Doody's comment about simplicity are the wheels themselves - the stock 575 wheels are pure, simply and incredibly elegant.

Nice rims!! Are they the standard wheels for the 575? They'd look great on my 550!

one of the things i really love about the maranello is its simplicity of line. pininfarina did a stellar job. the only thing even vaguely jarring on the car are the fins - and those are a right and righteous homage to its incredibly capable progenitors. one of the finest design aspects of the car IMO is the incredibly simple wheel design. probably the simplest wheel ever to ship out of the ferrari factory. so befitting the car. purely bespoke, if you'll pardon the pun! i never liked the modulars on the barchetta, and i don't think these modulars do the overall design justice either.

of course, that's why the factory ships 'em in more than one color, right? :-). to each their own!
