Peter,
Well I can't see a Ferrari as a woman myself. Too aggressive and too much power and sound, unless she's butch LOL. And Russell is an incredible actor :).

Sandra, I am sure Dina was indicating that a Ferrari should be a beautiful woman, not a smoke stenched, foulmouthed, womanising fool.(Good actor though !)

Have you guys seen the movie "Rush Hour 2"? Anyway, I think my Black/Tan Testarossa matches perfectly the hispanic secret service agent on the movie. Shiny Black hair, beautiful bronzed skin, wide sexy hips, looks to die for, ... Humm, I think I better stop, I have to go seat on my car for a while, Bye!

Caribe.

Dina,
I didn't say I was in love with Russell. Merely that he is very easy on the eyes. His morals and conduct leave much to be desired! I have a wonderful husband and probably couldnt stand to be around Mr. Crowe for more than a few minutes. Swearing turns me off totally.

Bret, I thought you knew ? I think you need a good woman to sit down and explain it all to you !
Rob, you never went there ? Please refer above !
Jennie, men are all the same? Please refer above !
Sandra, Russell Crowe? ugghh. Please refer above !
Magoo, I'm glad someone knows the difference !
Ciao !

Hey Sandra, Forget the charm, that's for dreamers. The reality is "how happy are you"? I always said "If you are happy and look forward to coming home to that one person, then you have the right person." Otherwise forget it. To me this is a formula on which to base ones happiness. As I said I found it and its like owning a Ferrari, "There are bad times but the love and passion brings you back for more."

Sorry, couldn't resist that one.

I only check out the board once or twice on the weekends so don't worry much about me interfering.

Rob loves everything Italian and would have an Italian wife if he could but maybe getting married in Italy sort of counts?
Rob Lay (Rob328gts)
Posted on Saturday, August 04, 2001 - 9:28 pm:

Guys, that's really my wife, or was my wife.

Now I'm worried what other posts she'll see.

For Jennie... I was joking about the Italian women, someone sent me the link to the site, but I never went there. Anytime I talk about how much this or that was on the Ferrari, I always exagerate, so remove a zero off the end. and I never intend on buying other Ferraris. and I never plan on racing one. and...

oh, I give up, it's all true.

LOL Magoo! Man, 4 times?! I guess a voice and good looks just don't make for a lasting marriage...too bad ;)
I celebrate my 12th wedding anniversary next month...my first and only marriage.
Warren E. Smith (Magoo)

Hi Sandra, I look just like Russel Crowe and the reason I have been married 4 times is that my voice sounds like a 308 exhaust. They love it. MAGOO

308 is definately a high point at Pininfarina & in the history of auto design.

Hi William,
Can't say for sure what got me into cars. I grew up a bit of a tomboy... riding minibikes, and I have a small collection of old Hondas. My dad's always been a car buff, but our tastes run at opposite ends of the spectrum. He's always liked Fords, especially the 55-57 T-birds and has owned quite a few. I tend to poo-poo most American cars...just a preference thing! Anyway, I remember after my first car (a Ford!)I was looking for something sportier. In '79 I spied a Fiat spider at church one Sunday and proceeded to purchase a '78 red/tan 124 spider. After 3 yrs I wanted something else. Not sure where I saw my first Alfa Spider, but that was what I ended up buying next. Gorgeous yellow/black Spider Veloce 2000 and I kept that car 5 yrs. Would've been longer but for the idiot that hit me and totaled it. Quickly my preference for Italian bodystyles developed. The 308 has been my dream car since I was 20, and to me still is the epitome of the classic Italian exotic. Can I hear an AMEN brothers?!

Sandra, what got u interested in cars & how did u pick a Ferrari ? I know about 4 women who own Ferraris, It would b nice if more women shared our passion for cool noisy cars :)
Sandra Cairncross (Sandrac)
Posted on Wednesday, August 01, 2001 - 12:22 am:

Ok boys!! My 308 would have to be a nonsmoking version of Russell Crowe. He's talented, virile, sexy deep voice (reminds me of the sound of my 308's exhaust) and I could look at him forever. Very easy on the eyes, guys ;), just like my car!

I would say the 308 is Heather Locklear. She's not straight off the lot anymore, but boys ya gotta admit she's still hot.

Reminds me of a "test report" written by Kim Wiik in Sweden about the new Honda model. The story is in swedish and I do not intend to translate it since I want to reduce the potential amount of readers who might spam me.

The new Honda I am reffering to is Honda Fitta. Translated to English its proper name will be Honda C*nt.

Ciao

Grattis! Hur kändes det?
Tack! Det var underbart! Jag har tillbringat hela helgen i fittan.

Vad tyckte du om fittans köregenskapen?
Helt OK faktiskt.

I personally haven't figured out exactly what woman my Rosso Rubino 308 looks like yet, but so far the only one that is close is Connie Nielsen, the lady that played in the Devil's Advocate and Gladiator, if I had to choose.

After exhaustive study and deliberation, I think my F355 Spider is best represented by Angela Cavagna from Rob's recommended site. She captures that combination of spirit and style, and like the Ferrari, looks great from behind :)

Now that I think of it...at the GQ Awards last Fall James Gandolfini of the Sopranos said "Julia Roberts is a Ferrari" he did mention which model.

Thanks Rob! (although my impressions of you have just been drastically altered!)

BTW, shouldn't we also ask "what kind of MAN would your Ferrari be?" for those female fans of ferrarichat, and I guess for those guys who are....well, you know... (not that there's anything wrong with that).

Mine would be Maria Grazia Cucinotta.....an Italian Actress with long black hair. I actually met her at a party for a movie premier a few years back. What a beautiful woman.

William...dont forget, Italian women are also very passionate and tempered...just like our cars.
