Well guys I guess Peter put me in the spot light here. I contacted him from my hospital bed and now the whole world knows. Peter and I have been friends on the F.C. for sometime and I guess I have to forgive him. I'm out of the hospital but not out of the woods. This stuff is a bit-h and they had trouble finding a anti-biotic to counter it. I thought I had a bad head cold and went to the emergency room on a Sunday morning. I walked in with a blood oxygen count in the 50s.. They couldn't believe I walked in. However I didn't feel that bad. This pneumonia was a different strain and can be a silent killer. Don't ask the name at this point because I haven't had the time to do much else but concentrate on getting well. I am still on high powered anti-biotics and slowly improving. I am taking the time to write this because of the thoughtful personal emails I have received and those of you who wished me well here on the F.C. thread. It really is good to know that there are a great bunch of guys on the F.C.. It is times like these when it shows. We may differ at times but when the chips are down the good shows through. I won't be as active as I have been for a while but you guys stay well and thanks again. Magoo |
