A bunch of 360 Tubi's have finally arrived and before you know it (mostly because of Cavallino), they're all gone. We have ONE (for a Coupe) available as of this morning, if any FChat 360 Coupe owner wants one, please email privately. |

Dave: If you want to hear the Fuchs on a 360, check out the video labeled "Driveby" -- I'd suggest you right click and hit "save target as" for faster download... http://www.jackspictures.com/videos/360%20Modena/ BTW, my car is Dec '99 build. As a result, it has a slightly different emisions system -- no pre-cats and air injection pump. The absence of pre-cats makes this car louder than later 360 MY's whether stock or with after market exhaust. If you're going Tubi, definitely get it from Tino -- he's the best! ;) |

Problem is Tubi is always out of 360 units. there are none available right now Stateside but we've been promised a few off the first next shipment, sometime next week. This is not a sales thing, but please email privately if you need a Tubi (spider is identical to Coupe except for "Spider" embossed on the muffler. Note: While I'm highly biased, I think the Tubi is the best thing I did to my own 360. |

Dave: The Tubi is the way to go! I agree wtih Lou. Growls at idle. Quiet as can be at 80mph in 6th with the windows up. But put your foot into it and LORDY it screams.A cop friend told me the other day that he could always hear the car coming. He'd be pulled over tapping on his computer and hear the Ferrari wailing in the background and then whoooosh. Fortunately, he was very happy with the knee surgery I did for him. good luck tom |

Dave, I have a Tubi on my 360 F1 and also had it on my Testarossa. I makes a great car even better and more fun to drive. The sound that the car makes is worth the $$ of the exhaust. I would recommend it to everyone. |

One of the 360's Manu fitted a Tubi to was mine. It's just sensational, especially the racecar howl at high revs and the crackling and popping on lift off. I found it easy to live with and none of my neighbours complained or issued a restraining order It added hugely to my enjoyment of the car. The only time it was a pain was when sitting in traffic. If you do get fed up with it, just get the original put back on again and sell it on ebay. Doesn't sound like that much to lose and a lot to gain. I've now sold the 360, and like the smile on the cat in "Alice in Wonderland" being the last bit to disappear, it's the sound of the 360 with this system that is the brightest color in my memory. |

Dave I recently put a Tubi exhaust on my 360 Spider. I live in LaJolla. If your interested in listening and taking a ride I will be happy to accomodate you. The Tubi exhaust does add to the enjoyment of the car. However it is louder than stock and people in the neigborhood will know when you start the car.

I ran F355 Challenge in SCCA road race competition and the "open" Challenge system was consistently measured at 108 dBA at a couple of tracks and we had to change back to the "muffled" Challenge OEM Ansa system. This brought sound pressure down to 98 dB, too quiet for my taste. I think the Tubi is only that raucous when redlined, otherwise it has a very pleasant, purposeful mean sound, but not too much to wear on you. Much improved over OEM. |

I put a TUBI on my 360 Spider 7000 miles ago after 3000 with the stock exhaust and never looked back. It sounds great, all the time, at startup, idle, acceleration, cruise, especially the burble on overruns etc. It is loud like a sports car should sound but I don't believe excessively so. Find a friend with one and try it out. I also have a TUBI on my 512TR which also sounds fantastic especially the howel under hard acceleration. |

Dave The FUCHS has a nice deep sound at idle. Listen to my friend's 360 w/ the FUCHS pull out of the parking lot, followed by a regular 360, towards the end of the video. No comparison. ftp://156.3.175.55/ http://bedrossian.net/Ferrari/Fuchs&Horn.htm |

I have video clips of Tubi AND Fuchs..... I have supplied and fitted both in the UK. Tubi sounds sensational - there is no exagerration in that at all - I mean it. (just hear one you'll understand). GET ONE, Tino (site sponsor) will help you out. |

Dave, I can't really give you a first-hand opinion about Tubi-style v. Fuchs for your 360....However, I currently have a factory Challenge Exhaust on my 348 TB. It is VERY loud, but I am enjoying every minute of it! Cop-magnet? Yes, probably, especially since I live in Irvine. But I really doubt you'll get in any trouble from the law... IMO, they are too busy trying to crack down on the japanese imports to stop and hassle a Ferrari owner who will most likely be contributing to the local law enforcement or 11-99 foundation! So, bottom line - DO IT. Get the exhaust. Deal with the consequences later...hehe. btw, I just saw a car like yours down in la Jolla yesterday - that wasn't you, by chance, was it? Absolutely stunning. I love that color. |

I think the fact that you shift at 8000rpms makes you a cop magnet.... Oh, and maybe because you are driving a $200,000 Ferrari.... But back to the question ( ), I know of a few guys that got the Tubi, then replaced the stock one because the noise did get to them. I can also speak from experience, although not F-car related. I had a 93 LX 5.0 that I put Flowmaster 2 chamber muffs with dumps....no pipes. It sounded f*ckin' AWESOME. Of course, two months later, I could barely stand the sound anymore, and I had pipes installed. It may sound great at first, but from what I know, it can begin to drone on ya. |

I have been considering a new TUBI or FUCHS systems for my 360 spider. My concerns are: 1) Will I become a cop magnet? I shift at 8,000 when ever possible. 2) Does FUCHS sound better? or the TUBI? I like the fact the stock one is quiet at low RPMs so the neighbors don't when I take it out night. 3) Has anyone heard of anyone pulling an aftermarket system off because it was too noisy or does the whole world love the idea? I checked the archives and it seems like there is talk about systems but no one seems to have commented on the 360 from first hand knowledge. Thanks for your comments.
