Chris,
yes I have washed mone several times. Hold up pretty good. Don't throw underwear in it with that wash unless you like Ferrari red briefs! :-)

With the fabric the scratchy schratch is not as bad as with another fabric. The Andrea cover is very soft. Silk like!

Just make sure the car is immaculate before putting one of those things on. SCRATCHY SCRATCHY! I've heard you can just throw the factory covers in the washer when they get dirty.

Jeff,
that is the cover that I had been talking about. Get it! $ 100 to $ 170 you should be okay and in the ballpark even for a used one.

Byron, wait till Jeff gets his and then you bid on the next.

My cover for $90 does not come close. Just a plain gray cover with California Covers on it.
This is the one! I got the same and it is great!

I used to have the link for the car cover section of the Ferrari owners site. I can't find it. Can someone pass it on?

Jeff,

I ordered and received a "factory" cover from the Ferrari owners site - It was just as you were looking for Satin with Flannel underneath and of course the "Prancing Horse" on the hood!! The cover fits like a glove - even when the car is under cover you can still see the lines!! OH YEEEAAAA! Although it takes a little time to get one delivered- well worth the wait!!

Byron I have one for my car and absolutely love it, the car looks good with it on. If you can get one and it is reasonably priced, go for it

Jeff, hmmm.... that cover looks tempting. How do we keep from competing on the bids? :-) Well, if you are watching this auction and bidding on it, then I'll refrain from bidding it up...hehe.

Anyone know the seller of the cover on ebay?

You can also find factory covers on the Ferrari owners site for about $230 with a bag.

Paul, that email address doesn't work. I'd like a 'factory' cover and have had trouble finding one.

Jeff, send an inquiry regarding covers to Joe Foster. His address is [email protected]
He sells the original type; red satin finish. He also sells the original seat covers and carrying bag.

I just got mine from California Car Covers. You can find them at calcarcover.com. Excellent fit and quality. The price was about $225. Best I have found. Good luck!

I lovely bride has volunteered to buy me a custom car cover for my incoming 348 TT for Valentines day. Where is the best place to buy a nice custom fit cover, (preferably satin lined with flannel), without breaking the bank?
Yes, I looked in the achives but didn't find a satisfatory thread. Any advice? Want to spend about $200.
