Russ,

I just removed my carpet 2 day ago! My carpet was simply glued in with a pop rivet in a few places. You may want to look at the weatherstripping to see if a pop rivet is holding the stripping and the carpet - if not - pull the weatherstripping off and that should release the carpet. There will be two rivets on each panel beside the seats that you will have to drill out - one will have to be drilled on the outside of the weatherstripping (low) and one you will have to pull the carpet down a little bit to see the other (high) - be prepared to take the seatbelts loose and eat your Wheaties for the piece directly in front on the drivers seat (way forward) - you will have to unscrew two screws that hold an electrical panel in place!! - e-mail me if you want to see any pics of what is behind everything or if you have any problems!!

Have been trying to get an answer to this for some time but to no avail. I want to remove the old carpet and have been told that it is jus glued in and to pull it up. That may be but I cannot figure out how to get it out from palce such as at the door sill where it goes up under the rubber weatherstripping and seems to be attached to something. Can anyone help?
