How about telling him about this site! I want one of his hood emblems for my car! I had the "space cowboy" (from the posted album) embroiderd on my last cars leather seats. Looked cool!

ordinarily me neither but he was being particularly threatening to a girl who just happened to be there & who he suspected of "knowing something". She was clearly quite frightened and upset & the other guy stepped in and subsequently headbutted him (I personally would never headbutt anyone but he picked on the wrong girl/guy)

craig, actually i did see the footage, but it was a cropped animated gif so you're right, i didn't see the car - someone told me it was his 360. Personally, i dont think anyone deserves a head butt even if they are being an idiot, but thats just me.

I think you'll struggle to find it, as far as I remember they never released it on video/dvd which is a shame.

You might get a bootleg copy here:

http://www.cd-bootleg.com/jamv1.html

or try here:

I forgot to tell ya that he has a song : "Travelling without moving" (it is also the album's name, that Anthony posted the pic.) in the beginning about 10 seconds you hear an engine accelerating and you can also hear the click while changing gears. I think it's his purple diablo. You'd better to listen, you may try to find from kazaa.

Mark, you obviously havent seen the video footage of that incident. It was a black Bentley, Jay Kay was being a complete to$$er and asked to be headbutted(IMO), and he pretty much fell over!

Love his music though ;)

Quite a coincidence, he lives about 50 metres from my office. Saw him last night in his Grigio 360 spider, and the day before in his murcielago.

Also heard he was getting the first customer Enzo delivered worldwide.

I went to a gig he did a few years ago - His purple Diablo was parked outside. Poor Jay got headbutted a few months back becasue some tabloid photographer was leaning on his 360s and Jay had a go at him. To be fair though Jay didnt flinch which i thought was pretty impressive. I tell ya, its like Gangs of New York in the uk everday ;)

Aaaaanyway, this was his long term girlfriend but they split up http://www.mercedesslips.com/denise_van_outen.jpg - she's on tv over here in the UK and is by all accounts very nice.

Not there's anything wrong with being gay... Being gay is just as much a lifestyle as being a Ferrari enthusiast... i know i'm a little too PC, but that's just me... :-)

Racer 001,
heres a quote from Jay Kay on an interview..

Question: "About the girls, you like them really?"

Answer: "Of course! I like women! A lot of guys don't like them. They don't support them, are afraid: They are bastards. Some off those just want to abuse them. Personally, I adore being with them. They are so funny. And don't give us a sh*t, lot's of the guys in this job are gay, then. I'm one of the only rock stars not to be one. The others come and say " Hello I'm gay! - Oh so am I! You're all gay!" That's good, more chicks for me!"

They've had alot of albums and hits, mostly in Europe though. I would love to see them in concert but no plans for a Toronto date.

Man, I remember he was big about 6 years ago. The music was good though. I always figured Jamiroquai was a "one hit wonder." Sounds like his got everything tied up into his car collection. Too many pop stars go though so much cash that they can't track it all correctly. Hope he has an honest bookkeeper.

Just to clarify, Jamiroquai is not his name, it's the name of the band. The lead singer is Jay Kay. I've never heard that he was gay, but these days, who knows?

I heard that he's gay. Is this true? Not that it'll change my opinion of him or anything, I was just wondering.

I never liked Jamiroquai or his type of music, but after reading that interview snippet I have a whole new appreciation for him. I still don't like the music.

I'm told Jamiroquai is performing at the Maranello ball in Melboune before the GP. It should be a good night. I'm buying my tickets this week.

He also has an F40. I remember seeing him on Top Gear giving it some stick around a racetrack.

Here's piece of an interview with him:
'If only everybody had a Ferrari,' he muses, in apparent seriousness, 'the roads would be a better place.' Jay, who happens to have two Ferraris (and three BMWs, an Aston, a 'Lambo' and a 'Merc), peers out of the window of a north London pub, a look of horror on his face, as he spies a passing motor that fails to meet his high standards of aesthetic and mechanical approval. 'Ugh! Look at that sickly coloured lime-green Escort. How could anyody do that?' He looks pained.

'My answer to people who criticise me for driving fast cars is to say: you make the Government take action to stop me driving around town, get them to offer us a safe, clean, efficient transport system with parking outside towns, and I'll stop. I don't like driving in towns anyway: I don't get much pleasure from driving 210mph cars down Regent Street when I could be doing 180 outside Paris.' He chuckles again. He goes into enormous detail about his last driving ban, predicts confidently that he's about to collect another one, and eagerly anticipates a forthcoming gig in Modena, Italy - home of Pavarotti, balsamic vinegar and, far more importantly for Jay, Ferrari - as 'like a Muslim going to Mecca for me.'

The album artwork for Travelling Without Moving looks familiar aswell:-)

Of course there is a Ferrari in the video, it's Jamiroquai!!!!! Jay Kay owns several Ferraris, lambos ect. and may loose his lisence because of excessive speeding. Love their music, it's a mix of Parliament Funkadelic, Prince and Marvin Gaye
