Manu,

I'm off to the Aussie airshow in Feb for a couple of weeks, this is just before I go so I would need to work the 'wife/daughter release vouchers' up (after all, it is 'er indoors that sanctions me having such expensive interests so its only fair), but I will try to get there, car needs a run out and some mileage in any case!

Dave - you have email mate. - BTW - can't you make it as well?

Mark - clearly you are my kind of Ferrari owner :-)
Directions are:
-Turn left at the roundabout at the end Egham Bypass (Maranello Sales is on your RIGHT)
-Take your first left (into langham Place) and then turn right into our car park.
-We are around the front, the first building after Loch Fyne Seafood Restaurant.. I'll send you an email offline.

Manu

10am is great and what's all this about the weather! come rain or shine we should all be out!, where in the High Street are you? nr the Shell garage or in the pedestrian bit?

I'll have a listen to a Tubi on a 5.2 and see if I should be going that route!

maranellosales - discount....you gotta be kiddin me,

As I said in another thread, they even invoiced me 0.72 pence for the jiffy bag to post two small triangle mirror mount plates a touch up paint and glovebox hydraulic strut @ total 350! Not all their issue agreed, just crap F pricing, but the Jiffy bag...come on!!!!!

I think I should rightfully own a couple of bricks or two of the conversion shown!

Anyway the parts are now fitted and look great(had to polish all the scratches out of the new spares first, they were all scratched up on delivery, usual problem of manufacturers not using decent packaging)

Mark,

There is a general Pistonheads TVR-esque meet at Virginia Waters in Surrey.
The fun though will begin with the pre-meet at our place in Egham at around 10.00am - although the time is yet to be confirmed - so far it appears we've got:

F355s X 7
456GT X 2
308 X 1
208 X 1
360M X 2
360Sp X 1
550M X 1
(may have an F50 coming also...)

Quite a few the guys coming are my customers so a lot of the cars are wearing Tubis and assorted sport exhausts - It should sound like a Grand Prix grid. In addition there ought to be at least 1 Lamborghini Diablo and various Porsches....

EDITED TO SAY : Weather permitting of course.

Good morning all.

To try and answer all your enquiries in one hit....here goes !

Miami348ts - re the cost of our new garage; the building was already up, it used to be a warehouse. The 1 MIL upwards was to make it into a workshop.

Napolis & Bryanp - I'm afraid it's not possible to give you a list of parts for these older race cars. As these were never road models its a case of matching something we might have with a pattern or some photos. Sorry this doesn't sound too great but that's how it works with these. And it does work ! There were no parts book for these, certainly not for importers anyway. Possible for both P4 and SII Mondial 500.

Manu & Markcollins - Thanks for the invite guys, much appreciated. Unfortunately I live 100 miles away (and get to sleep on the M25 every morning) so won't be able to fit a visit in. Not this time, anyway. Will try and make it another time.

Phew, think that did it ! Regards to all.

Hello Jeff - I was given a tour of the new facility by a chap called Sean actually - and very impressive it is too.
I'm down the road from you - one of my companies amongst other things sells Tubi Exhausts for Ferrari on Egham High Street (it's next to the new Loch Fyne restaurant) :-)

In fact we're having a meet of around 20 Ferrari owners on Sunday Feb 2nd - you ought to pop in and meet us all.

Napolis.

Yes, we do have some 330 P4 parts, mainly drivetrain components and certainly not a huge amount. Is there something specific that you need ?

Regards.

WOW...incredible website! That's quite an extensive list of in-house services offered -- I sure wish we had a place to bring our F-cars to like that over here in the US!

I especially enjoyed the 360-degree views of the facilities and cars.

Thanks, Jeff, for the link!

Jeff, you work there ??
Must be awesome to walk around over there, just drooling over all those beautifull cars right ?

Looks really cool, to bad the 360 look doesn't work for me at the time.
I'll check it tonight

Hi all.

I thought you might like to see our new workshop here in Egham, Surrey, England. It is the largest official Ferrari/Maserati workshop in the world boasting 38 ramps and 92,000 floor tiles and cost in excess of 1,000,000 or $1,600,000.

To see a 360 degree view of inside go here....http://www.maranellosales.com/ferrari/service_centre/servicecentre.asp
