Yeah, the Leatherique stuff. I'm not a chemist (nor do I play one on TV), but supposedly this stuff has leather protein ingredients that helps restore the actual chemical composition of the leather itself. At any rate, I get good results. For whatever reason. |

I hate to "me too" the thread, but: I re-dyed my seats with leaterique about 3 years ago. The stuff is great. Although I was carefull and took my time, (all winter), when you look CLOSE, you cansee a slight difference in the texture. The difference is VERY slight. I still use rejuvinator oil whenever I clean the car- great suff. Seats are soft and supple and 18 years old. |

Paul, >>>Do you think it is good for maintaining the leather or just for repairs?<<< Both... and by a wide margin IMHO. Enjoy The Drive, Steven R. Rochlin

What is it that makes the Leatherique product so good? Do you think it is good for maintaining the leather or just for repairs? |

When I saw the title I was going to suggest that you not go so deep into the corners But now.... I'm a believer in the Leatherique rejuvinator oil. Work it in and it will soften the leather again. |

due to my accidental negligence my passenger seat has had some water sitting in it (without me realising of course). The previously immaculate leather on the front of the seat now has some very slight hardening and what looks like small bubbles. I have dried the seat thoroughly and applied some leather cream. Although the leather is still quite stiff, it doesnt look like it will crack but I want to know if there is anything else I should be doing to prevent further damage&help with the bubbling? |
