I also have been to this place. Most of what I saw was in need of a restoration. Drivers at the very best. I felt the prices were high. It was 3 years ago, maybe things have changed.

I was there years ago, looking at funky old Mercedes cabrios from the 50;s and Mercedes 600SWB's (i know, its an oxymoron). Most of the cars looked really rough, but as a source for parts cars, i would consider it. Also, i'm sure if you know the owners (i don't) they may actually get some cars in respectable condition, but most of the ones i saw on my only visit were drove hard and put up wet.

I sold my first Ferrari to them years ago. It was a 85 308 QV with 51,000 miles. He paid cash, and then (I presume) put it on his lot. I cannot vouch for the quality of the cars he sells.

I looked at his website. All things considered, his cars and prices seem like a bit of fresh air compared to all the other, "mark it up high and let it sit for a year" kind of wheeler dealers. His cars look like real cars for real car guys who want a car to have fun with instead of spending your life's savings on. Wish I was closer. Any real car guy would enjoy looking at many of those cars.

Omar, it looks as though he deals mostly in rough cars, not that there's anything wrong with that. It's better than buying rough cars, giving them a fresh coat of shiny paint, and selling them as decent cars. Personally, I don't know what you would want with any of that junk he's selling unless you've got money in your pocket that's trying desperately to get out (in other words, unless you're looking for a "project" car).

Omar. The quick answer is no! I looked at the 88 Mondial when it first became available. Called told him i would be there in a hour for drive.
Now when i get there he says be easy on the clutch its slipping.
Slipping it was shot. Very rough paint an interior. Worst Mondial i have ever seen!!
A few cars look ok but he specializes in junk!

How about that Alfa Sprint Speciale? That has always been one of my favorites. It looks to be priced about half of what a nice example would be.

Just wondering what is all of your opinions of them? They seem to have some nifty cars reletively cheap, but that '60 Maserati 3500 caught my eye.

88 Mondial:

60 3500:

Basicly, are they worth the 3hr drive over to see them?
