Good morning all. I've had an email from Mr Sodacom. He has correctly identified the mystery part as part number 128035, intake manifold for a 328. He will be receiving our mystery, fun prize ! A new one will be posted on Friday. Regards. |

My guess is left side (forward bank) intake manifold for a USA 3.2 motor, p/n 128035. |

The GTB/GTS Turbo was a 2V motor, so this manifold can't be for that (this one has siameased intake runners at the mounting flange - indicates a 4V set-up). The GTB/S Turbo manifold was one-piece (feeding both banks) as the intercooler attached to it directly on top. The little vacuum barbs are throwing me off - I can't figure out what they would be used for (could it be like my carb car and they're the connections for a fuel-vapour charcoal cannister???).

Definitely a V8, definitely fuel injected --- likely a later model (328 era), and possibly turbo-charged. I'll say its an intake manifold from a model Ferrari introduced around 1986 (I believe it was only made for the Italian market) called simply the GTB/GTS Turbo -- this was the replacement for the earlier 208 Turbo. I have no idea whether it is front or rear bank (they may even be the same part?). And, I wouldn't have a clue as to the p/n either. |

I say it's a 328 air intake manifold say 88, on the right side PN# 128199 not usa or pn# 128034 for usa, that I cant tell. Or is it the left side .... But I realy think it's one funky beer bong for 4 people !

Is it off of a Ferrari? What about the car that used an engine similar to the 308 QV that wasn't a Ferrari? I think it was the Lancia Thema. |

Not 288 GTO runners, because it has injectors on the inside. Not F40 runners, because it has two injectors per cylinder. Looks like 308 QV or 328, but those cars didn't have vaccumm taps on each cylinder. Too curvy to be 348, 355 or 360. Dang, I'm stumped. |

OK a stupid guess. Is that an intake manifold for that bizarre 208 Ferrari that was sold in Italy with a smaller engine to skirt the emissions laws? |

It's an intake manifold for an 8-cylinder, but it doesn't look like a QV version. |

It is certainly the intake manifold of a 4 valve V8. Since the V8s went FI before they went 4V, I would guess 308QV. |

Do you just want the part name? Isn't it an intake manifold from an injected 308. |

Hi all. Since you all liked the display of parts from our Classic Parts warehouse we at Ferrari UK thought that wed have a little fun with yall. For the next few weeks every Friday afternoon (its afternoon here anywhere!) we will be adding a Guess what the part is competition. This should give you the whole weekend to play with it ! The first person who emails me with the correct application and part number of the weeks mystery part will win a small but distinctive prize which we will be sending over from here in England. All I can say is.May the best man or woman win ! Have a nice weekend.
