Interesting preference. Dunno how many 355 GTS, particularly late models, were available with conventional shifter. The one i had (silver/red leather/carbon f. top) was a beautiful car, bought at the end of the 355 production, but had already been ordered with the F-1 shifter. (Car was resold to Algar not long after i bought it there, and last i heard, after being purchased by somebody in the Phila. area who never drove it, was resold thru F of Long Guy Land, presumably to somebody in the NY metro area). It was a great looking and performing car, and i really liked the GTS thing on the 355 (which was considerably improved over the 328 version, in terms of fit, finish and stowing facilities), but like you, i would opt for a stick. But, i think if i were faced with the choice you present, i would probably hang onto the spyder. |

Germane- How much are you asking for the car? Is this a US car? Can you post or email me at [email protected]. I am on the waiting list for a new spider. TIA |

Germane, i get paid today- how does $800 sound...? LOL, just kidding... Sounds like you've got a nice car, there... Maybe you could post some pictures...? Best of luck to you, in selling it and finding the GTS you want... Keep us posted, if you don't find a GTS here... |

Having been sufficiently encouraged by the responses in another thread, as a private owner, I have a 2002 360 Spider 6-speed manual that I would like to sell. There is no other place that I know of with such a concentration of Ferrari enthusiasts. The vehicle is red with tan seats and door panels; the carpet is black, as is the top. The seats are electric with black piping. Very striking contrast with the tan, aluminum and black interior colors and red exterior. It is equipped with the optional modular wheels (available for approximately the past year). The car has less than 180 mi. (it came from Ferrari in late October 2002 with 45+ mi.). Full factory warranty. I am motivated to sell the vehicle, and will consider a deal involving a 355 GTS (preferably manual shift). I am reluctantly selling the vehicle because, as stunning as its appearance, engineering and performance are, I would like a GTS at this time. I have a 328 GTS and have always liked the styling of the 355. I expect that a buyer for the 360 and I will be able to arrive at a price considered fair by both parties. |
