Brian Jessel Ferrari has always been very nice to me. I go there to buy Ferrari products from time to time and everytime I went there, they gave me the permission to go look at the cars in the back. Very un-expected of a dealership that sells $200K-up cars! Thank you BJF!

BTW, I've been to Ferrari du Qubec, Ferrari of Seattle, Ferrari of San Francisco and Ferrari of Houston and all of them were very nice and let me walk around. Once again, the guy at Ferrari of Houston let me go take a look at the service bays in the back...very nice from him!

Ryank: Weissach (I hear people screaming Porsche already) on 2nd avenue and Burrard is the local dealer for Lamborghini. They say on their website that they are currently accepting orders for the Murcilago...Lambo's have been by FAR the rarest cars here in Vancouver. I have seen 2 Diablo's since my arrival here in Vancouver and both came from Lamborghini of Ontario

DES, believe me, I woulda taken pics, but I didnt have a camera on me...

Ryan, im 17 and my friend is 16, so we couldnt really walk in there like we were even half serious about buying a Ferrari...we just looked in the main showroom (360 spider, 360 modena, 575M, maserati spider)...we went to the service desk and caught a peek at the back, saw a 360 spider, couple of 355s, we wanted to go back there, but the guys at the service desk just ignored us...I dont know how many Maseratis they have/have sold, I didnt ask (not too interested in the Maseratis), but I have seen a couple on the streets, and I generally dont get very lucky with exotic car sightings, so I assume theyre selling decently...

It wasnt a bad experience by any means, cuz I got to see n touch not just one, but 3 Ferraris up close, so I still left happy :-)

Going to Steve Harris Import tomorrow to test drive my future Maranello. Add collection to my personal Ferrari. I asked Sean whether I can test drive his any of 456M, he has no problem for me being a repeated customer :-)

Thanks Sean,

Frank, let me tell you a story... (what is everyone sighing for...?:-))

In April of 2001, my Aunt & Uncle were nice enough to take me with them, to San Diego... While we were there, we went to a lot of different places, including Beverly Hills... While in Beverly Hills, my Aunt took a whole role of film worth of pictures of the celebrities' houses... Once we hit Rodeo drive, that's where the magic came in, for me... First up was an orange Diablo- BOOM! i was mystified... Got a shot of a nice Porsche, next... Lastly, as we were crossing one of the streets, a silver 360 came up behind us and stopped at the light... "Gimme the camera...!" i shouted and proceeded to bumrush my then 9 year old cousin for the camera bag around her neck... As i ripped the camera out of the bag from around her neck, the role of film with all those houses on it, popped out, fell on the floor and rolled down into the sewer... Even with my little cousin yelling at me, along with my Aunt, i managed to get two or three shots of that Modena... The first thing i thought of was that camera... i still have the pictures and the memory stays with me, 'cause it's wrapped in guilt; i still owe my Aunt pictures of all those houses... Even though she says it's ok and tells me not to feel guilty, i do and i'll go take pictures for her, one of these days, if i ever make it back out to California...

Fayyaz, BJF is a first rate operation with fantastic people working there (sorry to hear about your experience) I was in town and stopped by there in Nov/02. They had the 2 575's (blue/silver) and the 550B. Plus they were not surprisingly full of 2002 Maserati's (they don't seem to be moving!) Did you get to the back of the dealership?? We just waltzed in like we owned the place and checked out where they repair the cars, kind of nozy (big time!) but they didn't seem to mind.

An unnamed Ferrari dealership in Ontario, on Steeles Ave could learn a thing or two from Stewart, et al.

PS, does Vancouver have a Lambo facility?

Forza,

Ryan

DES, I had to get my wife to take the pics at the French Quarter Concourso. I was too distracted by the cars. Sometimes you just get overwhelmed with them in front of you how can you think of a camera?

I had the best day today!! My friend and I went around to a bunch of high-end dealerships around Vancouver, and saw 10 or so Ferraris!!! First, we saw a 550 Maranello (silver), then we saw a 360 Modena (red), then we went to Brian Jessel Ferrari (which I have been wanting to do for a year now), and they had 2 360 Modenas in the parking lot (one silver with the challenge grill), one red...inside they had a california blue (i think) 360 spider, a 360 Modena (silver), and the best of all, a 575M Maranello...man I was soooo excited, we were just sitting in Brian Jessel for 45 minutes or an hour just staring at the cars...the guy there wasnt too nice, he didnt let us sit in any cars or anything, and I asked if they still had the 550 Barchetta, they did, but he wouldnt show it to us...then later, at another dealership we saw another 360 spider (red)...What a great day :-)
