Malcolm,
OUCH! $10 G's huh? Maybe we could work a trade. I have the old XWX's from which I captured the original factory air charge into a sealed container. Tires are shot but the air's worth a lot!
Seriously, thanks for the reply, I'll call them.

Bill, I just checked and they dont show up, as you said. Perhaps they are all done, maybe you should call. Since these are no longer availble and are "ferrari" parts I will sell you my set for $10000, you can get back to me?

Bill, I bought the "intermediate" tire. I only drive on the road and my car presently has this tire so I bought an extra set for about $45.00 each. I like this tire for the street since it has a block tread similar to the XWX, so it looks about right for the period but is " modern". I have a set of Borranis/XWX for the days I want to look authintic.Boy, not having spellcheck makes it apparant how lazy I have become.

Malcolm,
The Tire Rack website does not list this tire. The only Yokohama in 235/60-15 is an all-season tire. How did you find them?

I recently bought these same tires from Tire Rack. They apparantly bought up all the stock, and are selling at bargain prices.

TomD,
Yeah, the tires are "gettin out there". They're Yokohama 235/60-15 and I can't get them anymore so I've got to find an alternative. Just have too much fun lightin up the tires from a roll since I put high-compression pistons in my engine.

Does anybody have any suggestions on making my stock Ansa a little bit louder without going crazy?

Rijk,
They sound exactly like the Ansa system. The quality of the set I bought is perfect. Plenty of adjustment provision in the rear hanger brackets to get them centered to.

I have the US Ansa and they sound great (read: loud). How is the sound of the stainless set?

In addition to the Euro's slip joint connection, the rear hangers differ. USa uses round rubber dounts, while Euro uses a rubber disc with studs protruding out either side. Fix the problem permanently by getting stainless steel ones from Ferrai U.K. as I did. They'll be the last set you'll ever need.

original ansa still available, any of the normal parts sources should be able to get them for you.European version is a slip joint, us version has flanges, otherwise they look the same to me. I could only find euro version, welded the old flanges on to make it "original"

I am looking for a source to replace my tail pipes (Ansa) for a 1973 Euro 365GTB/4. Are the original Ansa still available? Anybody has any experience with after market?
