I like the 348 better. Had both cars and although the 328 has a great aestetic look, the 348 is the technical better advanced car. Downside, not much you can do on your car anymore, but then I never would have anyway!

I literally had to answer the same question. I couldnt decide between an 86 TR, a 90-91 348, and an 87 328. I had just sold my 86 Mondial. I picked an 328 with 8700 miles on it and all of the services done over the other two. I decided that the experience of owning the 328 in better condition outweighed the 328. The Forza buyers guide for the 328 also tells a good story as well.

Hi all,

A couple of questions regarding these two models.

Ignoring the aesthetic differences, what are the differences between a late model 328 gts and a late model 348 ts in terms of reliability/maintenance costs AND is the 348 worth the additional cost for the improved performance and "newer car factor"? Does the 328GTS provide similar performance for less money?
What is the difference in basic "ferrariness" between the two, i.e. is the experience of ownership as enjoyable with either?

(O.k., more that a couple questions, sorry).

Thanks,
Mikester
