I always dreamed of owning a red/tan because a "Ferarri should be red." Then I went to an FCA event and saw that everybody had a red car. At times like that, I'm glad I have a silver car. Enzo wanted them all to be red and Henry Ford wanted all of his cars to be black. |

Thanks Jeff. I was a little disappointed that the 328 I just bought is white, but after that pic, I feel a whole lot better! |

And I saw a gold metallic 308 at a club event in LA last year. Can't say I was attracted to it but I had to admit it was a very rare color. There is also a color called Merone, that perhaps is the same as the bronze color you mentioned. Also was in a 308. I've seen a 246 Dino in a nonmetallic version of my color, prugna. |

I know all of you who own and drive Rosso Corsa and Nero love those colors but did most of you know that Ferrari produces 15-20 colors for EACH model not including custom colors? Variety is the spice of life!

and if you were to pick out a color for your NEW Ferrari, the process would go a bit like this:

There are excpetions to this: the F40 only came in 2 colors (Rosso Corsa and Rosso Barchetta), but came in 2 custom colors I hear (Black and Yellow). The F50 came in 5 colors (Rosso Corsa, Rosso Barchetta, Black, Grey Nurburgring, and Yellow) I've seen a green but that could have been a repaint (even a digital repaint). Also I have seen a custom color 360 (coupe) is was Rosso Dino (delivered from the factory that way), I wish a had gotten a pic of it, it is such an odd color = ORANGE! a little darker than "home depot" color but close.
Just thought I'd throw some new shades into the mix. Hopefully soon I can get some real pics of cars wearing those unred, unblack colors, if so I'll post them as I can. I do have some strange ones that I have collected off the net (a bronze TR and a turquoise TR too), but somehting about seeing them with one's own eyes.
