For 30K service:
If you want to see what Ferrari recommends, check your owners manual. Mine has a section of what should be done at the various mileages. Also, you can check this out(for his opinion):

http://emelbon.tripod.com/eugeniosferrariservice.html

For info on Euro cars & Dealers, you should search on that. My quick summary says that most F dealers won't honor warranty items on newer Euro cars but they will do paid service on "older" (out of warranty) models.

Any dealer will work on your 308 Euro. They will not work on 360 Euro for warranty purposes, most will work on them though because it makes money after all.

I would suggest that you look for an independent shop instead of unsing a F-dealer shop. You will get things done cheaper. Ferrari will only use Ferrari items, independents will use others as well, like Nicks waterpumps:-), thanks Nick, which can save you $1000 right there (in my case).

Talk to other owners in your area about their service center. Get referrals.

It depends on the dealer, but I believe most of them will work on a Euro car.

Fluids changed, brake, coolant, gear box, motor oil. Filters, air, fuel, oil. Belts, timing and accessory drive. Tensioners for timing belts changed. Adjust valves, change plugs.Check timing. Inspect caps, rotors, wires, plug extensions. Adjust CO (carbon monoxide) mixture, if needed. Lot's of stuff inspected, like water pump, wheel bearings, brakes, etc.

Engine is only removed for rebuild.

1.On a previous discussion, someone mentioned that Ferrari dealerships will not work on grey market Euro cars. Is this true?
2.Also, Yes it's been discussed to death, but what exactly gets done on a 30k service for a 85 308QV.
3.Under what conditions does the engine have to be dropped?
Thanks!!
