mark,

Your NSX is welcome and so are you.

You don't need to play golf , I imagine there will be quite a few who are attending for just cars and BullS***

Hmmm... this seems like it might be fun... Is there room for another Ferrari lover, but not Ferrari owner? I just traded my old NSX for an 03, so I'll have something at least mildly interesting to look at :-) I can't golf to save my ass though...

I hear ya, I guess as we get a little closer we should ask for people to commit, that way we don't end up with only 5.

Tom
I have no idea , I am guessing we are already in the 20+ range. I have a few F car friends who have committed to go and the response seems strong on the list.

Let's hope we get 100.

Friday: 8pm supper for whoever is in the hotel already?

Saturday: golf and then AC?

Sunday: depends, if we're tired from the day and hit AC and I'm in bed by mid night, then I would be up for something Sunday morning, I'm very lible to be up all night though and then just sleep a few hours before my flight.

Please let me know when hotel is decided upon.

Hey Guys,

Just checking in to see how this event is taking hold. Seems like Saturday is booked with golf and AC at night. Are most planning on staying Saturday night at AC. Anything on the drawing board for the following Sunday, like a scenic drive to Camden perhaps 8^) ? Just toying with the idea of flatbedding my car up from Miami. --- John

Just to qualify Jim's post, yes, my first experience as a passenger resulted in the driver loosing the clutch in a beautiful PF. It was an unbelievable half mile up to then though.

Go easy on Rob guys, you have to understand that his first and only experience in a pre-70's Ferrari resulted in clutch replacement. Of course, he is exactly one experience ahead of me...

Ok, here's my ticket information. I still haven't reserved a room yet, I was going to wait and see what hotels were recommended. I also don't plan on getting a car as I'm sure there will be others in the area or I can get a cab. If there's some more people going from Dallas then we'll for sure chip in for a rental.

I'll have to hit the range at least once before hand. Last time I went to the range the elder Bush was president and my handicap wasn't in the double digits. Don't miss it one bit, but always have fun to get out there once a year or so.

Friday evening works great. Atlantic City is the best choice but limited service. If you can't get a flight to A.C. I can pick you up at Philadelphia Int and get you to A.C.(55 min drive)
I will get a few rooms at one of the Casino's for a reduced rate for anyone else interested in staying down the beach.

Count me and another friend from Dallas in. If we're available that weekend, it's about 50-50 with all the racing and FCA events here in Texas. I would fly out with the sticks and get some stuff from sponsors. A little FC get together. We were going to do this with FL in LV, but I haven't heard back yet and I've never done AC anyway.

Not that I matter, but my unavailable weekends are for FCA DFW...

Great combination of good time, good friends and good memory! Count me in!

Has any body figured out how to fit a set of clubs into a 355 Spider? It will be a damn shame to pass up a round of 18 holes...

Eli,
The invation is good for whoever you would like to bring. If you bring your boss(spouse) it might be good to make a weekend at the beach or AC.

I can be flexible, lets see what everyone wants to do and we can shoot for a date that we can get the best turnout.

Les
Golf is not mandatory, in fact if very few want to play it can just be a great place to talk Ferrari's and eat and drink before we go loose all of our money at AC
AAron, I think that attendies need only to be list related and enjoy the F-cars

Eli,
That would be great, we can shoot for the last saturday in April if that works for everyone.

I know of at least three members with F-cars who might be interested and I will call my neighbor to bring his F-40 . Now who is bringing their ENZO!
We might already have 10+ F-cars in 15 minutes!!

Eli,
It seems to me that we can get a good number from guys on the list and there friends without a "sponsor". I'm thinking the sooner the better, maybe late April. I am flexible, any saturday with good weather.
It will be interesting to see how many are interested in the next few days.

I wasn't thinking about it along those lines, I just thought it would be good to get some guys together at a place that we could just bullshit and enjoy the cars but I am up for anything.

Des, the cars are safe from any golf balls, for non-golfers and picture nuts like yourself, the restaurant and bar are two stories up with all glass views of wher the cars will be parked.

Eli-golf is not mandatory and this is not the course for beginers
Could be fun for a few laughs!

Just an idea. have you tought about having this outing promoted or sponsored by a local ferrari dealer. My local ferrari dealer in Long Island has these outing all the time and last years outing in the Hamptons had over 60 ferraris.

I am looking to test the waters on an idea for a spring outing.
We own a very exclusive golf course 10 minutes outside of AC(GATED and secure for all of you bringing your Enzo's), where I have had airplane owners outings that have worked out great.
I was thinking of having a day of golf and F-cars and then a casino run.
Anyone not interested in Golf can hang out and check oout the cars. We have a bar and restaurant on the property and a Marriot hotel/Golf course 1 mile down the road.
Anyway, just thought it might make an interesting day or weekend if there was interest
