Michael: On the V1 site, one can plug in the serial number and they will tell you what level of upgrade it has. Why would someone sell a GOOD radar detector? If it is for sale, it is probably an older unit which needs an upgrade.......hence, you might as well buy a new one.......as I did. |

You can update the V1. Cost would probably be about the same if you bought a new one though. Art |

Michael considering these are very high precision instruments, you should consider buying a brand new V-1. One ticket to prove (maybe) that you bought a dud would negate any savings. |
