Ben, Do you know if he drives down to Palo Alto to get it serviced. Two years ago, I saw a TVR at the bmw service shop on alma (independant, I'm sure), but at the time I really didn't know much abotu the cars (well, not that I know much now, but then was even less). Regardless - the car was under some shade, but it was a dark green color as I recall. I definetly recall it reading TVR Cerbera (speed 6?). --Dan |

yep, the Cerberas are truly mental, they do have trouble getting the power down though, hence the fact that the one on saturday was only marginally faster than me. Lee thanks for your comments, the speedo decided not to work that day so was showing 0mph ha ha, was at 7000rpm though. |

I do not think the build qaulity is that great, The engine is sound and noise is cool. They do not hold their price very well. |

Lee, they used to do it at the South Lake Tahoe Airport just south of Reno, NV. The baby blue car is a TVR Cerbera. There is only 1 in the USA (and it's near me!). -Ben |

What a cool, cool event. Safe and controlled, and bat-out-of-hell fun, too! Does anyone ever do this on runways in the US? Craig, beautiful 348, the perfect colors. The shields look great. My next Ferrari will be either mid-engine V12 car or a 348, which I rented in Las Vegas a few months ago, ingniting the fever which led to the '78 308 in my garage right now. What was your speedo showing when you got clocked 155? Higher or lower? What the hell is that funky blue car to the left on the first pic? The Cerbera? Who makes that....I've never heard of them. |

Well, went & did it, great day out. The car performed superbly. I was quite amazed by the handling on the rest of the circuit also, it just gripped and gripped. Speed wise I got a maximum of 155mph(electronic timing equipment used), amazing the difference between actual speedo readings & "real speed" Didn't fair to badly against the Porkers either, see: http://www.titanic.co.uk/993/Bruntingthorpe/ There is a table of top speeds there. Cheers for all car prep advice also guys.
