Martin obviously knows more than i, but i would've suggested you contact the seller, which is probably where the mistake originated... Like i said, though- Martin's a whole lot more knowledgeable with this sorta thing than i am... Martin, could i ask why you suggested that rather than having Mr. Callahan go to the seller...? Bob, I would call FNA in N.J. and explain the situation.Have at hand the details of the seller,vin#,Key# and special code #.You should have these details in your leather portfolio or in the paper work. I believe this is the best way to go rather than going to the seller. | ||

Last September I bought a 99 355 and had it trucked to me from Chicago. When I picked up the car I was presented with 2 keys (1 black, 1 silver)both with black alarm fobs. I also got a seperate red alarm fob. I always used the one that I drove the car home with. Today I tried the others for the time. Quess what, the other key (the silver one) fits nothing and the alarms (even though the LED light works) do nothing to my car. I suspect I got a different cars key and fobs. My question, how hard is it to have new keys made, and how do I get another alarm fob? Thanks, Bob |
