Met her and dad in person at the ALMS/WC weekend 2001 at TMS. Both extremely nice, I even had a little crush on Carol. Here's the pics, but I guess since the server move the thumbnails aren't working right, I'll fix that later. http://www.ferrarichat.com/discus/events/tms2001/ |

Ah, Tiger's ride back then. She's moved on to a Ford Mustang now, still with her unique hand-controls. Her dad owns lotsa cool Ferraris, include the fabled 512M/F Scuderia Filippinetti car (featured in the recent SpeedTV program and and even Forza). |

That's Carol Hollfelder's car. She drove it in the Speedvision Challenge in 2000 and 2001. She also has a couple of SCCA National Crowns. You can read about her at http://www.tiger-racing.com/driver_bio.html

355 Challenge Car from Hearland Park Topeka, 2002. I took this photo last summer. I can't recall the womans name, but she was paralized from the waist down. The steering wheel had hand controls for the gas (round lever behind wheel) and the steering column telescoped for the brakes. The shifter buttons where on the front of the wheel and she activated them with her thumb. There was a feature story about her on speedvision last year.
I'll post some more later. |
