Ahh, thanks Wayne. Its along the same idea as the 69 dodge daytonas and 70 superbirds. They have the covers on the tops of the front fenders to cover the holes for the same reason. I never would have guessed though. Paul. |

The wheel well is cut out to prevent the larger (than the Lusso) wheels and tires from rubbing the inside of the fenders during periods of excessive suspension travel. That plate covers the cut-out in the fender. |

In the latest Forza magazine there is a 330 on page 24. Very very nice looking car. Ive seen them before but always wondered what the rectangular panel is for above the rear wheel opening? It takes away from the car's looks IMO but it must have a function. |
