Mr. Garcia called me, he told me that a televangelist owned the car, traded it on a porsche; silver with red interior, 3500 miles, black top...as new. He told me they were asking 245,000 for the car...he said that he had a tentative deal on the car.... I guess he sold it for 227,000. What a great deal????????

Andres, by any chance does your dealership has a name. i have a 00 360 coupe i am asking $200,000. i am sure you guys can sell it for me.

Why would someone in his right mind pay $227K for a silver on red 01 spider when he can buy an 02 with the same options and not a red interior. come on now we are not that stupid here are we?

As I think about it maybe he really does not know anything about these cars , 260k for a 01 3k spider is about the funniest thing I have heard in a while :-) I doubt he will get 200

At $260K, he's going to have that car a lot longer than a week. Either that or he's going to settle for $160K at the auction.

There's a guy from Texas who has been trying to sell a silver/burgundy 2001 Spider with 3275 miles on the Dupont Registry site. His current price is $199,500. It has Daytona seats, Challenge Grills, Silver calipers and a 6 CD changer. Sound familiar?

When I first spotted it it was priced at $209.5K and dropped about $5K at a time to its present price. I'm sure he's desperate to sell. Perhaps Andres is trying to make some quick cash?

and people wonder why we are so skeptical :-) I go back to my original thought - how do you take a trade on a 200k car and not know what you are dealing with. This is a classic baiting trick

Dave and Jere,
Right on the money gentlemen. This spam is on the FCA Technical Forum in nearly every category. I visit the site daily to help members with technical issues, and the Forum is not the place. We will deal with it appropriately.

Yawn.(BTW, "win/win scenarios" went out in the "80's". The rest of the spiel, like, "gee, i don't know much about ferraris but if you like the car i'm confident we can agree on price" went out in the early stone age). Just remember,Michael Jackson only had two nose jobs, and doesn't really have sex with the young boys he sleeps with. I don't object to regulars posting for sales, but who is this guy?

Gentlemen, to be honest, most of what I know about Ferrari I have learned today. What I do know is how to work with managers and potential customers to set up a win win situation for both sides. We will not have the vehicle for long, I am looking for one seriously interested person to go to work for. I have been salesman of the year for two years in a row. I have done this through my straight forward honest approach and a true dedication to my customers. If you like the vehicle I am confident we will be able to come to terms on price. If you have an offer that sounds crazy call me anyways I have a way of getting thing done around here.

Let me go to work for you

260,000??????

I know Ebay isnt the best judge of price, but 360 spiders haven't been up that high in a good bit.

If $260,000 is a great deal, what is a normal deal-
$350,000? Doesn't seem like reality IMHO.

Jere, i would ordinarily agree with you, but seeing that it's his first post, i think waiting is best- if he continues to only come here to advertise, then something will be said, as with another gentleman who only came here to promote his site and seems to have ceased visiting us... He seems sincere in his plight to move a car he says isn't usual for his area...

Ummm, The first post from this individual and it is selling a car at a dealership. Should this thread be under another heading. I did not think this forum was to be used by retail dealers to sell their inventory. Correct me if I am wrong.

I assure you all this is very real. Pics will be available via email tomorrow morning. It is a one owner US vehicle we have all books and service records, and all of the paint is original. The vehicle will not be in our dealership for longer than a week.

I work for a dealership in Rochester, NY. We recently took a Ferrari on trade from a gentleman from Texas. We do not have much of a market for this type of vehicle and we are looking to move it quickly. It may be a chance for you to get a great deal before it is sent to auction. The vehicle is in brand new condition and has never been drive in Rochester.
