you will find that most are missing quite a few items and they are cheap to replace. be prepared to spend a long time tracking down pieces if they are missing as they are usually not readily available. |

William, Thanks for the detailed information and the photo. This should be very helpful in that I have been looking at purchasing a Dino in the near future and I wanted to know what exactly came with the car. Many cars listed say that they have "all tools and books", but may be actually missing a couple. Fernando |

the books came in a leather pouch (inside of the pouch is either suede (early) or red morray (late)). the pouch included: 1. owners manual 2. parts book (with brass brads for the binding) 3. sales and service agents book 4. additional instuctions for the us model 5. lubrication/comparison charts (either agip or shell) 6. yellow tack cloth (either agip or shell) 7. key fob (icor(early) oromea(late)) 8. two ignition and two door keys the tool kit consisted of : 1. jack with seperate bag 2. wheel chock 3. lug wrench 4. two screwdrivers 5. three wrenches 6. brass window winder 7. pliers 8. carb tool 9. socket tool this is what the early tool kit pouch looks like:
the later tool kit includes the same tools but the inside of the pouch material is red in color instead of brown. |

Solly on this board had his car in a concours and bought a tool set prior to it, he should know. I remember he paid an arm and a leg for it |

Does anyone know what exact books and tools originally came with the 72-74 U.S. version of the 246 Dino? Thanks in advance. Fernando |
