I've tried calling him on the battery hotline, but he is always too busy working!! Brother Bruce - Put your feet up, and relax with a cold beer or 2!! You'd better get yourself well soon!! Driving season is just around the corner!!!

Hi guys

This is the first time i can get to a computer in 2 weeks.First of all Bruce and I thank each and everyone of you for your concern and best wishes, really you are a great bunch of guys..thank you all so much.
The operation went succesful for the decline in pressure and decreasing the extra build up of protein and sugars in the eye. However as far as sight back in the eye, its a waiting game, as the doctors dont know how much damage was done to the retina. The vision could be back in a week, month, year, not at all, full vision, they dont know, its a waiting game.
Bruce has to rest most of the day, and we will wait and see.
We appreciate all your emails, calls, and cards...

Bruce wanted for me to say a special thanks for the guys especially in the nj/ct/ny region and to William Hart for contacting his uncle DR Jeffers , head of the emergency room at Wills Eye hospital actually contacted Bruce in the hospital and spoke to him on the phone, and comforted him.

thank you all again for your warmest responses and best wishes, and maybe i can get Bruce back soon with his "caps"

love to all,

Bruce/Andrea

"It was necessary for him to have emergency eye surgery due to a rapid build-up of protein in his eye which, in turn, was seriously increasing his intraoccular pressure to a dangerous degree."

Um, yeah... What he said...

Yeah, Ron...he's back home. The hospital kept him overnight after the operation...the rest of the recovery takes place at home.
(Hmmm....wonder if he's talked Andrea into donning that nurse's outfit once again???)

Just spoke to the Brucer... Surgery had a positive outcome last week, but patience is still required to see the operation will be a long term success...

Bruce, get well, buddy- i'd give you one of my eyes if i thought it would help... (Of course, then you might start seeing things in the world from my point of view and that just can't be good...:-))
