The operation went succesful for the decline in pressure and decreasing the extra build up of protein and sugars in the eye.However as far as sight back in the eye, its a waiting game, as the doctors dont know how much damage was done to the retina. The vision could be back in a week, month, year, not at all, full vision, they dont know, its a waiting game. Bruce has to rest most of the day, and we will wait and see. We appreciate all your emails, calls, and cards... Surgery had a positive outcome last week, but patience is still required to see the operation will be a long term success... Bruce, get well, buddy- i'd give you one of my eyes if i thought it would help... (Of course, then you might start seeing things in the world from my point of view and that just can't be good...)
