Even its professional fixed, its possible that car will never run straight again after the accident. Will you feel safe when you drive 100mph+ in that car? Also, all the problem will start to show up when you build up the mileage on previous damaged car. Why risk $80k?? Just add $20k and get the blk F355 F1 w/10k miles.

I believe that if the accident was not reported to the DMV by the insurance company, it won't show up in Carfax. I also think this may be a state level regulation. I've noticed that Carfax reports on NJ cars have very extensive accident info listed whereas NY cars literally never show an accident unless the car was totaled.

Carfax is basically a good first start at gathering info, but it shouldn't be used as a final word.

FYI the dealer stated that the accident did NOT show up on Carfax. I would think 18K is a fair amount of damage. Maybe Carafx is not what most people think.

oh - they already fixed it. that wasnt' clear.

okay - then it's not sleazy. if you forget to ask or research for damage history then that's the buyer's mistake IMO. if they've already restored it to spec, then they've done their job.

i retract my comments!

I think Spiders and the Fiorano are probably the only 355's selling over $100k today.

Boys...Boys...Boys

How many times have we seen this before? Extreme low price and on e-bay to boot!

99 355 under 100K...that sends a red flag right away...

Would be interested to see if the accident shows up on Carfax...anyone with an account? I've always doubted the usefulness of that service. Nice time to put it to test.

I hope I have not misled this board. The repairs have been done, but the cost was $18,000. That would be a concern as far as I am concerned. Vehicle has had prior damage, fixed or not.

Uh, hold on! Are you saying the car still needs
to be fixed, or it has been fixed? If it
was fixed professionally, I don't see a
big problem! 18K is easy to accumulate with
a Ferrari...

what a sleazebag ad IMO. no way you list a car that needs $18K worth of accident repair and not even allude to it.

i assume the guy was immediately forthcoming when you phoned him al, but i think it's seriously uncool advertising.

doody.

So does anybody have any clue what this car is worth, considering it's been in an accident with a total damage/repair of $18,000.00?

The catch is that it has been hit. I say that, because the seller doesn't mention otherwise. I would write 'never hit' if I were selling a clean car. If it wasn't clean, I wouldn't say anything.

Just my jaded opinion.

It looks like the car has a challenge grill. That is the black on the rear you are referring to. I think it's a nice upgrade!

That looks like a good deal esp. with the 30k mile sevice just done and with the f1 tranny and the mileage 31k is good for a 4 year old car means most likely the car wasn't sitting in a body shop somewere due to a wreck. I don't remember ever seeing the black in the rear on one of these models however inbetween the taillights.

Is the market for 355s really dropping this low?

Just thought I'd gather your thoughts. I'm not in the market, but if YOU are, this looks like a pretty 355 at a BARGAIN price. No affiliation.......
