Mark has a supercharger on his 308 and is doing another setup, there may have been just a touch of sarcasm in his post...

Mark,
Ferraris are to be driven and driven hard once warmed up. I like to see a Ferrari different from the stock especially when you go to a Ferrari day out and all the Ferraris are parked up looking the same. Its cool in a way but even nicer to see once a while a Ferrari standing out from the rest.

Jeff,

I had a standard grill that was slightly damaged on one of the fins. All you do is grind/cut out the middle fins like the SS grill and respray it.
black.
I live North Lincolnshire about 200 miles from Cambrigde. Thanks for the offer.
How long are you staying for ??

All this talk of modifying your Ferraris? Blasphemy I say. Ferraris arent intended to be driven hard. They should be left stock, primped and parked for you to pose near them at a concourse and then have a nice girly luncheon with the other posers.

Paul, did you need to go with 2" ID springs to get those wheels on?

Actually, it doesn't look EXACTLY like that. I believe this to be a photo of the Series Speciale grill. Notice the outside edges and the center section still accomadating the cavalino?

To my knowledge, my 308GT4 is the only one with air scoops in front of the rear wheels.

In my photos below.
The steering wheel is a 300mm MOMO CORSE.
The pedals are from F355 Challange series cars.
The footwell plate is from a 348 Challange car.
The gearknob is a MOMO CORSE.
I have 275/35/18" tyres, 10X18 alloys with I think 30mm spacers. They are stamped Ferrari on them I have noticed.

The petrol filler cap with chrome surround is stamped Ferrari, never seen one them before. That was on the car when I bought.

I have noticed as well what is different from the stock 348 spiders or all models is that my F348 has the flags emblem on the ash tray like the F355 and later ferrari models and also has the horse on the gear level gate. They were on the car when I bought it.

Basically all the bits that are different from stock F348's were on the car when I bought.

The weird thing is that their is a F348 GTCompetezione badge on the rear of the car and the spider badge is on the glove box.

Martin, do the diffusers run all the way from front to back under the car? How much were they and what is the expected down force improvement if at all? Oh yeah can you feel any improvement in handling with them on?

5{ very nice but if you want to run a 512TR hard on the track you have to change some stuff, like brakes, seats, harnesses, wheels, tires, exhaust. thinking of adding a removable carbon fiber wing cus the rear end gets light at the Glen & Moroso

The bumpers are show only, they are useless as bumpers.

Fiberglass is *way* underrated IMO. If you have good stuff it can take a lickin'

I was scared of it for years too, but I've had a couple of 'glass front ends on my car and they hold up fine.

Paul, did you ever hit anything with the glass bumpers? Would they shatter easily?

Andreas,
Fiberglass euro bumpers (from Butch Hooper @Italian Design).

Paul,
Nick at Forza Ferrari had special spacers made for 360 wheels.

Tim,
Expect more than 350 HP when done.

Martin,
I can push mine faster than you can push yours. How many cylinders in a BMW Z1?

Besides putting spacers on the car, which can be removed, the car was lower color matched, top was color matched, the fender shields embedded, the CATS removed (changable), a chrome shifter installed, CD Changer, Challenge emblem (it wasn't me..), Challenge tow hook rear and just recently:

Diffusers front and rear.
I actually like them!

ask Paul how fast he was driving the 308 this last months, or how often since August :-)

...sorry Paul.

Hey Paul,
which car is faster currently, your 308 or my 308 Competition?

...again, sorry!

Paul,

Looks great! Keep up the excellent work. Sometimes i wonder just how far you OEM guys will go for the sake of OEM when better parts are available for higher performance. But then again maybe higher performance is not what everyone wants in their Ferrari and that's cool too. Enzo believe is updating cars... In the end what REALLY matters is that YOU...

Enjoy the Drive,

From what I have learned and read over my some 45+ years of life, something that is "Bad" is something that you do not like. I even looked in Websters and discovered that that is the case.

Forgot to ask - Did you have any problems fitting the 360 wheels on the car?

First things first..
Paul, your car is BADASS !!!! I love the ride height, the 360 rims and the Euro spoiler up front.. WOW !

Second
Frank, I hope that answers your question..

Ferrari ownership, I agree, is a privilage. But man must also bond with his machine..

Some do this in a tasteful way like Paul has, others may do the Bling-Bling thing that may turn most of us off.. It all goes back to individual taste and one doing what he/she wants with their own property.

Damn Paul, that car is HOT!!

Paul,

What a difference the wheels make on your car! - Quite unbelievable! I am quite wary of putting different wheels on cars but these look the muts nuts!

Paul, you should have bid in Mark's supercharger setup that he sold. He dynoed 305rwhp, which is well over 350hp at the crank. The car has the show, all it needs is the go.

Paul,

I've said it before and I'm happy to say it again: Your car is an inspiration! Best 308 I ever saw.

What paint did you use for the bumper? Is that a rubber or fibreglass bumper? I had my rubber painted in the car's color, but it is already flaking off.

I can't believe all I read on FC about owners modifying the appearance of their F-Cars with non-OEM parts. I guess the good thing about it is that all of us who keep ours OEM will be able to sell ours for more and/or get more points in concours in the future. If you want to add a lot of aftermarket crap to a car, get a Honda. Please leave the F-cars alone !
