i think we need some photos of everyones feet in the shoes. i suppose mine are the largest 13. got them from continental in chitown. i must admit i've yet to wear them around an unsupecting public, i've promised the cats at the club i'll wear them in when Rubens wins a race, but my race buds think there ok and have even purchased theirs. the vintage are nice but the reds really let everybody know your there. do yours smell like a tire store? they're not very good for driving though. but i cant wait to wear them to a race.

I had purchased some clown shows the other day, but when I got them home I said to my self, self you have lost your mind. Today I took them back, and exchanged them for the newer Vintage model Black with a red tongue, and small amount of red around edge of sole look very neat. I must also say very comfortable like slippers.I payed 79.95 plus wonderful Michigan sales tax.

Went to the mall today and they have some new Ferrari shoes that I have never seen. They are a lot less flashy than the racer ones. They are primarily solid red or black each with conservative trim . Deserve a look.

My racer Fila shoes AKA Clown shoes, are size 11 and are 4.5 inches wide at the widest point 4 inches back from the toe. I suggest anyone to get a half size larger than what you normally wear. These things have a very small opening and I had to get a Shoe Horn to put them on, or as my wife says, install them.

Ok, I'm afraid I have to admit to considering some of these red racers. The soles on them look large, like a tennis shoe sole. Is that the case? I never drive my car in tennis shoes as the wide soles get in my way. Can someone tell me if these are "tennis shoe" wide?

I just got my shoes today (ordered both the F12002 and the Vintage models). No comments from strangers so far, but have never had that many people look at my feet!

Not sure if I can get used to the clown shoes, they are not really my style. The Vintage ones are nice though.

I was at the mall tonight and the salesman told me their were only so many Ferrari shoes made of each size and they were all sold out of all sizes, and he has already seen them on ebay for $150.00 what does form think should I buy a pair for collector item or pass.
He also showed me a picture of new leather style coming out in a few months.

Nika,
It's important that your F-Filas get regular use. People tend to keep the mileage low, but if you baby them too much, the seals can harden on you...

Nika, all these people are so jealous that they do not have the fortitude to take the big step and get a pair of the Ferrari shoes and wear them. I wore them to a party Saturday night with a pair of black slacks and a red and black knit shirt and the people loved them, in fact a friend of mine bought a pair and dosen't even have a Ferrari. The shoe store in the Mall near me is sold out.

But I still wear blue eyeshadow!! And earring so big that poodles can jumpt thru them.........oh my, and don't forget my BIG HAIR. But I'll tell you something......ALL of us in our thirties have those memories of the eighties! Oh gawd I may even have pictures!

As for my shoes - I look at it like this - sometimes a Versace dress looks like a rag on me - other times it can be very stylish. These shoes ...um.......need a pair of black jeans and red tank top and they can work. They are certainly not as bad as those new runners I see that teenagers are wearing...like the ones that light up at each step!

Now be nice Ernie!! LOL

Nika I think that the fellas at your office where being polite cause they like girl in the shoes, and are still thinking "If I'm nice to her someday.........". LMOA!!!! Can you say "NOT!" Nika I still will tell you straight, I bet those shoes looked as good on you as the first time you showed up to school with Blue Eye Shadow on, hahahahaaaaaaa!

Oh and Robert even though they didn't say it to your face I bet they where wondering why you drove the 360 instead of the little circus car that endless clowns emerge from. Cause at 6'7" I bet your pair look like you stole them from Ronald McDonald. HHhahahah!!!!!!!

I went up to Ferrari of HOUSTON last week to check out the CLOWN shoes. $130.00 from the dealer. They will never grow on me, I just can't do it. I'm not going to be ENZO the CLOWN. It makes ya wonder what the old man would have thought. Here's an idea, a new Ferrari breakfast cereal called ENZO'S with crunchy little bit size Ferrari shields with a free F1 car toy in every box! Only $30.00 a box, kids. I just think the marketing is getting a little to strange.

I wore mine outside for the first time today also. I only use them on clear days. I received only one compliment, this from the stock boy at the grocery store who was in awe of them. They are really going to need some breaking in. I feel kinda like Monica on Friends when she bought the expensive boots. If the Shoe store won't let you test drive them in the store I would back away.

Nika...sounds as if you need to call your local Ferrari dealer and schedule to bring the new shoes in for the recommended "break-in" service -- they will adjust the shoelace eyelets, change the laces, adjust the tongue to spec, and resurface the soles as part of this service. Don't pay the dealer price for the new laces, though -- T.Rutlands can beat their price!

okay - my feet are sore - the right foot feels like I tied the laces too tight but they are loose.

This afternoon seems people have warmed up to my footwear - many more compliments. Just that darn accountant told me to "turn them off - too bright" Sheeeesh!

I'm NOT 6.7 or 250 lbs BUT I'm female and we practice giving "the LOOK" that normally instills fear in any being that crosses us! LOL

You can order these shoes over the internet at www.fila.com I have to admit I ordered a pair for my ferrari stuff collection, will I wear them? Well I am not 6' 7" 250 lbs, so I will have to think about that. (but my friends laugh at me anyway, so why not!)

Well I must say that I have stayed out of this conversation too long, Yes I have a pair of the clown shoes, and one day for a joke i pulled the Joey from friends, I wore the clown shoes, black jeans red Ferrari jacket, and Ferrari golf shirt, with a Ferrari hat, and I drove my 360. Man I had my entire office holding thier side for about thirty miunuts. The shoes by themselves are very comfy, and I sport them, but then again I am 6-'7" and 250 Lbs. so who is going to tell me I have clown shoes on.

checked out their tracton earlier too (Thanks to it SNOWING here) Not bad - a bit chilly on the toes but then again - they are not winter boots.

Well - it being Casual Friday here at the office I decided to wear my new Fila shoes - call it an experiment but I wanted to see if William's idea of these being "clown" shoes would carry over into the thoughts of my co-workers.

Gas station attendant said "nice" but unfortunately he wasn't looking at my shoes. My parking lot attendant thought they looked "cool".(Was he trying to humor me? He said the same thing about my new Ferrari cell phone)

The Chairman rolled his eyes when he saw the Ferrari logo (Hell - he wants to get a Ferrari 400 so we know he has no taste) My assistant called them "not ugly but beauty challenged"
So there you have itso far, gentlemen - the day is not over so I'm sure to get more commentary.

Nika
in jeans, a black Ferrari sweater and BRIGHT #@#$! Ferrari SHOES :-)
