I won't be doing any originality competitions, but as I fix and replace things, I'd like to keep it as original as possible. That is unless there's not much difference in looks/performance, but a big difference in price... I'll have to check on getting the original clamp, doesn't sound like cost is a real issue on it.

Yes, the stock/concours item isn't a screw clamp, it's sort of a "roll" clamp closure. If you don't care about concours, a screw clamp will work fine.

I just bought a new rubber boot from GT Car Parts for $56. Is the clamp any different from the screw clamps at the parts store?

HOLY COW!! I bought the rubber air box boot about a year ago for $60. And that was from FoH!! I always check the dealers for little parts like that. Sometimes I luck out and it's cheaper.
