I have a copy of Ferrari in Camera bought in Japan when it came out, and I have to say it was worth it for me. If you are a fan of Ferrari racing, the pictures are of sensational quality.

For me they really capture the spirit, people (& dirt!) and competition over the years. I paid about 500US for mine 5 yrs ago, but its nice to see that it has appreciated - which my 360 will not do!!

Some Amazon.co.uk reviews on Ferrari in Camera:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/0952300915/usedferrarisco00/026-6833258-4210010

Note they're selling for 500GBP, or $785 US... Although the one you found seems to be ready to ship.

I have been keeping my eye on these 2 books on the 'net - the first for quite some time - and thought i might get some of your opinions on them.

The first one has a price out-of-this-world, $1275US at Collectors Carbooks, but its rare that you EVER actually seen this thing for sale. I have never read a review, except at Palawans site, but since they were the producer of the book what else WOULD they say except positive things...
FERRARI IN CAMERA, NYE/GODDARD, PALAWAN PRESS, 1995, pp 360, #213/1000 LIMITED EDITION SUPERB PALAWAN QUALITY LARGE FORMAT TOME OUT OF PRINT FEATURES THE PHOTOGRAPHY OF GEOFF GOODARD $1275US

The second is a little more sane price-wise but very narrow in its subject, 4 cylinder Ferraris.
From what i can tell it covers the (comparitively small) subject very well, however its not a coffee-table book, one doesnt buy this one for its full-colour pictures as it just has a couple of "salons" for a very few choice cars; the rest is all black and white, allbeit very well reproduced. Cavallino "highly recomends" it and sells a few signed copies....
FERRARI - I QUATTRO CILINDRI, SCALETTI, MITO ROSSO, 1998, pp 273, LIMITED EDITION NUMBER 0900
$149US
Thanks for any information you might have...
