I have two friends who own Radicals. If anyone is interested, I could ask them to come and chat over here. Or, I could provide you with their email addresses. Let me know. |

Wow! Just went to the Radical web site. Now I know where Damon Hill get his racing fix these days. How much HP do thoes cars make? They seem like a cheap reliable way to get a serious rush. |

ACW: It's too bad but I tell you I was very wary of where this guy was in my grid during Blue Group. One session I was starting behind him and I passed him as soon as possible. |

Someone I know was a passenger in this blue 355 when the incident occured at turn 4. The driver was doing really well in this session. He went into 4 a bit too fast and lifted at the exit on the white strip. Lifting is a very intuitive reflex which is very hard to fight. It is very unfortunate that he resisted to lift during the whole corner but lifted on the exit. ACW

Nice F355 plus inexperienced driver equals expensive repairs.

ACW: I didn't want to piss off the Ferrari community but I was 10 sec a lap faster in my 996TT on Sunday compared to the Ferrari on Saturday. I'm 100% sure it's my driving skills (or lack of) that make for most of the difference though. |

Hey Mark, I did not know you posted on Ferrarichat. I was there as well with my 996 TT. It was two great days. Looking forward to the next event... ACW

1:30's, nice! 1st time w/ the radical at LS? I can see him shaving some more time off that. Still, at 1:30, that puts him w/in seconds ( 5-6 for lmp 675's, and 12 for lmp 900's) of prototype racers, that is amazing considering how much the car cost. Would you mind passing on your friends email? |

I think the lap times on the Radical were around 1:30. It was so fast and was always firmly planted on the track. The braking is incredible too. He was still accelerating into corners where I would already be braking. After about 30 minutes out on the track in that car I ran over to my Ferrari because my group was already out on the track. I swear it felt like I was driving a Caprice Classic at 30 mph. |

Mark- Well done. I'm curious, do you remember, by chance, which gear you used? Just trying to get a comperison. Any more impressions on the radical? Lap times? I'd love to hear your comments. |

Hi mark- if you get a chance, I'd love to have the high-res scans too PS: do you know what gear they were shot on? focus is absolutely perfect on each one, and that tracking shot of the 550 is great. Best! Ben. |

Kenny: It was a drivers education event so no Nomex suit is required. Just a helmet. www.tracquest.com |

The famous corkscrew. Notice I'm ahead of the Porsche's. I think they were giving me room because of the 180 degree spin I did in turn #1.
