Earlier, i took my little cousin to B of LI to show him the 360 spider in the window and the 360 spider, TR & Diablo in the lot- at 13 years old, there's maybe 6 square inches of his bedroom wall that's not covered in pictures of cars, so i figured he'd really appreciate it... Anyway, we get there, we're taking pictures and there's these other two guys there, couldn't have been more than a year or two older than me... We get to talkin' about the beauty of the lot and as different cars are mentioned, we all go over what we know... One guy turns to me and says, "Boy, you really know a lot about these cars", which is kinda funny, 'cause i really don't... Yet the first thing i thought of was FerrariChat and all that i've picked up, on here... i told him, "Well, i read about them, literally, everyday..." i know there's so much more to know, right down to the serial numbers (Lord Wayne, i'm not ready for the quiz yet  ), but i compare what i knew last July to what i know now and, although it's not nearly as much as it could be, it sure as hell is a whole lot more... Just wanted to say thanks to everyone here- if it weren't for this site and the people on it, i'd still know next to nothing... It's not just the owners, either... There are a lot of really knowledgeable people here that aren't owners (but i hope they someday are) and i find that i learn from everyone... So thank you... It's funny, too, 'cause as much of a pest as i am to some of you here, it's your very knowledge that keeps me coming back- kinda ironic, lol... So, Rob, where do i send my $10...? |
