I too have heard about the 360 GTO, it should have around 550 hp with twin turbos. Even in Italy though Ferrari dealerships don't know anything about it. Could they present two high performance cars almost at the same time?(F60 and 360 GTO) It doesn't make too much sense to me. |

Saw pics of 360 Barchetta in Autocar. Similar to car Agnelli gave DiMontezemolo as a wedding gift. Supposedly being considered for a limited run. My hope would be they'd do a run of the "360 GTO" that Doody referenced. A decontented, twin-turbo'd, F40/288-esque car would be good fun. |

art - i too have heard the rumours of a 360 GTO powered with twin turbos to produce 500+ HP. the word i've gotten is that it'll be limited production along the lines of the 550 Barchetta. as best i can tell, no ferrari dealer in NA has any information on this. rumors are announcement in the summertime and manufacturing ramp in Q1 or Q2 2003. if this is true, it's not a "new" 3XX model, it's just a derivative of the 360 platform. doody. |

>> Ferrari won't cange such a successful car for a while yet. The order book for the 360 is BULGING - such changes are a long way off. << I have to agree with this assertion. There is no reason to make changes to a model as successful as the 360 while they can't even supply the demand. Look for replacement before any major or significant changes. |

Ferrari won't cange such a successful car for a while yet. The order book for the 360 is BULGING - such changes are a long way off. First off is the F60/FX in september and then in a couple of years the new 550/575 and 456GT and THEN we'll see the updated 360. |

I just heard that turbos were in the future, with about 500 hp. I also heard that the maserati engine, or a derviative may power the next Ferrari. Art |

The only rumored change that I know of is enlarging the engine to 4.2 liters putting out 450HP. It's probably going to have chains instead of belts. |
