Already tried that... had the sensor replaced a few weeks ago. The problem remains. |

You have a faulty oil temp sensor. It happened to mine, and they changed it under warranty. Ernesto |

Anyone experience this... When I take my 360 to the track, I often end up with the oil temperature reading going into the red. But it doesn't just slowly rise up there; it swings up there in seconds. And then will swing back down. Yesterday at the track, I watched it more closely and noticed that, once I had the engine pretty hot, when I would accelerate down a long straight, the temp gauge would swing to red... even if I accelerated just moderately. THEORY 1: The oil temp sender is somewhere towards the front of the engine or oil pan... when I accelerate for a while, the oil oozes back away from the sender such that the sender quickly heats up. THEORY 2: The oil pump is very low pressure such that under acceleration it has trouble pushing the oil forward from the oil cooler into the engine. Anyone know what's going on here? Anyone experience this? Thanks, Brian
