My first Ferrari I had was a 1994 348 GTS in ended up this way. I travelling at 30 mph on the motorway when suddenly the traffic came to a stand still and went to hit the brake but managed to hit the gas pedals at the sametime and ran straight into the car in front of me. I had just picked up the car after buying it. I had it for hour done only 25 miles. Start of the day was the best day of my life a dream come true. An hour later my worst nightmare. I emitted it was fault. I had boots on at the time which size 14. The car had the sports pedal on it, my feet seemed cover both pedals, the gap between the pedals quite small. I was still getting use to driving the car becuase it was LHD and its was a ferrari my pride and joy. I'll always look to make sure the gearlever goes the gate notches. It was a combination of stuff. I was fined and got some points. I pleady guilty. Actually my insurance only went up 50.00 UK sterling more. The car was adamaged as that in the photo. The car was sold by the insurance company, I got paid out for the value I bought the car for. The car went to auction and someone as recently repaired it all up again. |
