Al, I saw your car's adv at Dupontregistry, and the asking price was 95K. So I can assume that you made a great deal on it!! Hopely, I can find one like yours this summer. Thanks, p.s I love your car, IMHO red/tan is the best

I forgot to mention- If a 1995 355 spider is worth "X", then a 1996 is plus $5,000, and Plus $5,000 for each newer year to 1999. IMHO |

Sure- I just bought a 1996 355 spider, low miles, excellant condition price about $86,000 (about- trade involved and saving of sale tax) another 1996 spider sold $90,000 low miles in LA area, another spider in FL 1997 high miles (36,000) sold $81,000. I have talked to either buyer or seller in the sales. I was only looking for a spider, but the GTB has to be $10,000 less than a spider. Also a while back one of our posters bought a perfect 1996 GTB for $75,000. I leaving to pick up my car this AM. |

Al, Please show me where I can buy a 1997 355 with no stories, service up to date and with 12K miles for under $ 75,000. I think there are some dealers who would love to know too! |

You can "meet" sellers on Ebay. Most start high, but time and auctions go on, they start to get realistic. It may take a few months of research. Also you can check dupont registry or cars.com. It took me about three months to find the right car.In this economy there are lots of fair prices. You just have to search for them. |

Where do you guys find 95' F355 GTB for 60K-80K? I know there are few F355 GTB for mid/high 70's. But I have never seen one in lower than mid 70s unless the car has salvage title. Is there any website that I can look for?

Thanks guys, I truly appreciate your input in this. I think Rob and Lepeter are right on the price for this car. Again, thank you. |

I agree. I'm in real estate and for sale by owner sales are counted like a Realtor sale. 95K to 115K is way off base. |

A sale is a sale and I think $60-80k for 95's and $75-90k for '96+ is the reality. There are always those that will pay $10k more for a "dealer" car, to each their own. If money didn't matter I would pay the extra to get on the good side of a reputable dealer. |

$95 to $115 for a well documented car from an authorized dealer. Off of ebay you can probably find one for $80K. I think we should start talking about recent sales as a function of authorized market vs. private owner because that's where these distressed i couldnt afford the car in the first place sales are coming from... http://www.carbuyer.com/moreinfo.html?adv=&key=752266&s= http://www.carbuyer.com/moreinfo.html?adv=&key=780184&s= http://www.carbuyer.com/moreinfo.html?adv=&key=758173&s=

I think based on very recent sales that I personaly know about, the GTB should be max $75,000. Spiders are going $85,000 to $90,000 |
