I actually only received about 4 emails this morning from users. That's about right, I appreciate a heads up, although if I'm checking email I'm probably also checking the site. The best is getting a call. Ben will call me whenever he knows it's down. I'll probably get about 5 users on at various times to call me if they ever notice it's down.

The 5,000 emails were all system generated. I have about 10 processes that are monitored and I will get an email every 5 seconds if one is down. Don't worry, I'll be fixing that soon not to be as frequent.

Rob,

Would you rather us not e-mailing you when the site goes down? Just wondering if everyone e-mailing you at once is a good idea

Hopefully it's back stable again. I've been working with tech support since 6am CST to get this resolved. The story is they had to replace the motherboard out. The only two outages we've had in 3 months on this server have been hardware. At least it was nothing of my fault. Hopefully this isn't a common occurrence or my "inexpensive" server may not be such a good deal after all.

Also, I think I caught everyone's email, but I received about 5,000 emails this morning from my system telling me this and that were down, so if I haven't responded to one of your emails, please resend.

Thanks,
rob
