I coated my test pipes and part of the Tubi with Jet Hot. Excellent job... and is supposed to work great.

I've used both Jet hot and other locally applied (didn't have to ship cross country) coatings of all kinds: exhaust, pistons, combustion chambers, suspension, wheels, etc.

I love high performance coatings.

On exhaust, you get the most bennefit from coating the inside (which Jet Hot does), and can even, in extreme applications like rotaries, only coat the inside, as the steel can cook the carbon right out due to intense heat trapped between the coats inside and out.

BTW, this is why one should not use "header wrap" on plain carbon steel headers, they can't take the temperature and break down. Stainless steel only for header wraps.

The place I am having mine done, Miller Coatings 770.931.1505 can do many colors and wrinkle finish as well. I'm having mine done in the same natural silver as stock.

Another vote for HPC, had many things done by them including the entire TR exhaust.

James besides that they can do colors (altho I'm not sure about white), you could always hi-temp paint OVER their coatings.

I use HPC coatings on my Lola. They work very well. I'd use them on my P4 but for originallity I'm using flat white high temp paint.

Has anyone used it on their F-car ? I am having my entire exhaust system done now. It looks great and is very durable. They claim it increases power too as it holds heat in the headers which increaes flow. I am being charged $450.00 for the headers, exhaust pipes and mufflers.
