During the event one announcement particularly surprised all those present the production of the 575 GT, the 12 cylinder sports car that represents the racing development of the 575M Maranello series. The statement was made by director Claudio Berro: �This model, ranks alongside the 360 GT which has already been in production for about a year now, is designed to satisfy the demands of our customers who are becoming ever more passionate about the granturismo series.� 10 models of the 575 GT will be produced over the course of 2003, created directly by Ferrari in cooperation with N. Technology.
