in this market, you should feel free to make a rational, even if low, offer for whatever you like. he doesn't have buyers lined up for it, for sure.

that said, i have seen them carry cars a long time. they were (apparently) way upside down on a 355 when i was shopping, but wouldn't be reasonable about the price.

doody.

You know, I think you can offer anything you like, and shouldn't necessarily worry about "wasting time." That said, I thought the 512M was going for more like $175ish. You might also do better with a private sale of your NSX, wouldn't you think? Still, call Werner Pfister, he's a good guy, and a straight shooter. He'll tell you the truth, even if it isn't exactly what you want to hear! Good luck.

Honestly, since you guys are great with advice on cars and car prices, I was thinking of getting a F512M in nice condition by trading my NSX and giveing 100,000 cash. This works out to around 140-145k depending on trade in, and I think that is a fair offer given the current pricing condition on f-cars.

Should I make 'em an offer like this or is it just wishful thinking wasting both their time and mine?

BTW, I definately want a Red F512M though, black interior, but tan is nice too... :-) Thats why the Newport one doesnt fit the bill :-(

Thnks for your help guys!

Depends on your definition of "while." It wasn't there when I bought my 550 in September. Didn't see it there in November either. Incidentally, I'm a big fan of that place, particularly Werner Pfister.

Ferrari of San Francisco (in Mill Valley) has one as well. Red with tan interior. Gorgeous.

Omar, if you're looking, Newport Autosport has one too. I saw it last week, it's perfect.
