psssh. my john deere makes 1100hp, out of a 150cc rig...and runs on pump gas, too. traction, well hell, i just slap on some 375/45/24 p zeros on that puppy and off i go down the muslanne straight. gotta wear a hat, though, keeps the bugs outta my toupe. you should see the look on the prototype drivers faces when i pass them under braking...the paracheute is kinda tricky to pack at above 299mph, but below that it's okay. got me a spoiler, too.

Mr. G., actually I'm told the Doc believed the fantasy because for what he paid he should have gotten 800HP...and I was being kind with 350...I was told 320 by a very reliable source, but I didn't want the you know who's jumping down my throat....;-)..

In Micheal Jacksons interview, Michael said he only had 2 operations and he is worth about a Billion dollars..
Apparentlly, they both went to the same school of how to lie to the media.

I saw a 288 clone (328 engine, stretched QV chassis, Kevlar body panels) at a local show. The person showing it told me how the enigne made close to 700HP on 8 PSI of boost and stock internals...

Whew for a moment I was worried as mine only has 450HP at 8,000 RPM's. (If Ferrari's to be believed):-)

There was a P4 recreation running around up north of here with 650HP....owned by a Doctor...it recently went up for sale with this "SPECIAL" 650 HP Ferrari 12 engine...the buyer stipulated a dyno test to confirm the bold claims as a condition of sale...Dyno tests revealed this Special 12 Cylnder Fire Breathing Monster put out "A REAL 350 HP"....

Moral of the story...Talk is easy.

Yesterday evening there was a magazine on TV here in Germany showing some Turkish businessman and his sports cars. One of the cars was a yellow 355 GTS; engine was as far as I remember a 2.7...

Ok...now what he told the interviewer:

"My car has 711 bhp. It has sport air filters, a special exhaust system that I designed together with my own steel company, special cats and some secret modifications of which I cant tell you more..some changed engine block. The tuning cost about 1 million dollars.

The engine had NO turbos, nothing visible changed (not even a 10 litre V12...) and I know what a 355 engine looks like ;)

His best sentence Well...when I first drove with my 355 and hit the 320 kph (!!), the car's nose went up in the air. So I went back to the tuner and ordered an aero kit. Now its possible to drive more than 340 kph. And: MY 355 does the 200 kph in under 7.5 seconds.

I nearly fell of the bed when I heard that. What a dumb guy and what a dumb interviewer who seemed to believe everything this guy said.

Some weeks ago I saw his car at a track day in Austria. He two times accelerated out of a curve behind a Honda NSXbut couldnt passso where are the 711 bhp?

Another thing: Even Koenig Tuning doesn't get more than 600 bhp out of the 355's engine...including turbo chargers :-)

Hope you like that story ;)
