Vernon, Jens is spot-on with the info. You will need to book your place through the dealer/FNA and you'll have to go on the Basic course at Mugello first. It is expensive but I thought it was really worth it having the opportunity to explore and discover the limits of the cars' performance, makes you appreciate what they are capable of and, equally importantly, what the limits are! The instructors are all race drivers and a couple of them are ex-F1 drivers, and they were great at guiding us not just in driving fast on a track but controlling the car through understeer, oversteer, wet roads, without ABS, etc. Mugello is a fun track as well. Cheers, Amar |

Vernon, The Pilota Ferrari racing courses are taking place in Mugello and Fiorano with 360 and 550 factory cars. Actually there are three courses: Novice, Advance, Expert. These courses are normally two or three days long. You need to book them via your official Ferrari dealer and normally there are waiting times. Besides: The courses are quite expensive for two days (6000 Euro per person). All details can be reviewed on the Ferrari owners site. There are also some video clips of them. Amar Inam from this site has taken part in the first course at Mugello. He was quite delighted with it. He can surely tell you more from a first hand point of view. Con saluti cordialissimi, Jens Haller |

A friend of mine told me that there is a driving school at the factory track. "Piloti" I think I am spending two weeks in Italy in July and planning a factory tour, just curios if there is info anyone knows on the driving school. |
