I've used Cork Adams at Precision Wire Wheel in Quincy, IL and have nothing but good things to say. He is very nice to deal with and did an excellent job on my knock offs and my alloys. I would think your wires should run around $450 per wheel unless they are really bad.

Good advice on the Fiat comment.

The wheels would actually be coming off a 60's Lamborghini 350 GT.

Not purchased yet, but looks like I'll go through with it if restoration cost is not off the charts.

I use a company out East but shop around as wire wheels for some reason vary in price from shop to shop greatly. I always tell people my wheels are off a fiat then get the price and then drop them off. They here Ferrari they start thinking$$$

I would say Dayton wire wheels also, they have some of the best spokes in the world. They also specialize in restoring Borani's and any other wire wheels as well.

Thanks all, I'll be calling or visiting (via website) some of these places to see what their quotes are.

If there are any others your comments are appreciated.

Had Cork Adams at Precision Wire Wheels do mine 13 years ago and they are still perfect. Highly recommended in my opinion. He's in Quincy, Illinois, and can be reached at 217.228.8315.

Not sure if this is current, but try Valley Wire Wheel (Mike Rizenman) in Van Nuys.

Borani Wire Wheels, I think his real name is James Wilson, out of Santa Monica? Not a bad resume competing with Daytona in the hayday. Maybe he would do them, maybe not. Seeing him in action is just unbelievable; then again, any artist who's perfected the trade is :-)

I'm not sure if they do wire wheels, but give them a try:

Trying to tentatively price out a restoration...

The wheels look like they are in good shape, but they do need a good "once over". Checks to see if the wires are all straight, removal of minor rust spots, etc. Anyone know of a place where they can make these like new?

Preferrably in the CA bay area...
