You can also call and order it from A&E/Biography channel stores for $24.95. I just did because my Direct TV blacked out about 15 minutes into the program. Call 1-888-423-1212 and ask for the "Wealth and Power" series special on Enzo Ferrari.

I get the Biography Channel here only on digital cable (#275), which I got so my wife could watch the "Home and Garden" channel.

I haven't yet figured out how to set up my VCR so it will record programs that come through the digital tuner. It has something to do with the rat's nest of wires behind the television. I'll see if I can do it, but it didn't work last night.

Good idea Eric. Thank God I have Speed on my cable. Wouldn't know what to do without it.

I feel your pain Andreas...just discovered that I don't have Biography in my current channel line up either. Perhaps if we wait a month or so, Biography will release it for sale on their website through their store portal.

sounds like I don't have that channel then. Would you mind taping it for me please?

I tried to watch this last night, but couldn't find it. What is the Biography channel?

Is the Biography channel the same as A&E?

Bill, thanks for posting the times for today...unfortunately, I was in bed sick yesterday and didn't have a clue that even a television existed.

It was definitely interesting to see.

The program right before was about Porsche, which was also pretty cool.

Thanks for the heads up on the program Jeff.

It was a pretty neat show, called "Enzo Ferrari - A Passion For Speed". It was strictly about Ferrari the man, not about the cars, and did quite a good job of telling his story. It was interesting to see interviews with people like his son Piero Ferrari, Sergio Scaglietti, and Carroll Shelby (who said that Ferrari didn't win LeMans in the 50's, forgetting about 1954 and 1958).

There were some real clankers in the closed-captioning, which I like to use because sometimes I can't understand the audio on TV. Agnelli was "Onyelli", Chinetti was "Canetti", the Scuderia was "Scooteria", etc. And I swear this is true: they said that Ferrari didn't attend the races because he didn't think his nerves could stand it, but it came up on the screen that he didn't attend the races because "he didn't think his nose was standard!!!"

I have checked the channel guide, and it indicates that the program will be rebroadcast on Thursday at 10:00AM and 4:00PM, and on Sunday at 2:00PM (THESE ARE WEST COAST TIMES).

It's worth a look.

Tonight (March 5th) my channel guide lists a program that may be of interest.

At 10:00PM (West Coast) they list: "Wealth & Power: Enzo Ferrari". One hour.

Anyone familiar with this?
