Tamiya has an Enzo Ferrari R/C car out now. http://www.tamiya.com/english/products/58298enzo/index.htm Also, there's a 312T3 F1 car, a 360 Challenge and a 360 N-GT (Daytona 24 Hour version) of the R/C car. Not sure if these are battery powered like the Enzo above.

Do they have any of those funky gas powered ones? I think some of those can almost get to highway speeds. These things are awesome. I love that little nikko sub in tokyotekki's website. |

Here's some pictures of mine. I got mine off ebay, with an optional factory hop-up motor and bearings thrown in. About $130-140 with shipping. This was before you could get them in the US. Pretty awesome performance, considering the size. Range is about 80 feet before it starts getting kinda squirrelly. With the hop-up motor, I think it tops out at around 18-20 mph on a fresh charge of NiMH batteries. That's roughly 400 mph to scale. Here's one (with a DTM CLK body) modified to run to 56 mph: http://ernie.floor4.net/russ/miniz/files/video/56mph.wmv

I've posted pics of these cars here a few weeks ago and there pretty much available in most hobby stores that sell RC cars. You can also get softer tires too. |

Driving these cars @ 15-20mph on an 18" track aint easy. You really need racing slicks I am still working on some bits to make the car handle better/smoother. I've added quite a few hop ups already. Turbo, hi-torque motor, ball differential, bearings, rear shocks, steering camber. I think I'm getting out of control. LOL |

These cars are so cool... Noel... do they run pretty fast? At such a small scale, can you actually drive them? Millbrae is not too far from me - I should go check out Tokyotekki one of these days... will the import models be there? ;) |

If anyone's interested, these cars are made by Kyosho and are called Mini-Z racers. Very nice detailing, especially on their ferrari models. Fully customizable and upgradable with a vast assortment of hopups to choose from. Available at Tokyo Tekki in Millbrae, California. http://www.tokyotekki.com pics: http://www.tokyotekki.com/IMAGES/MINIZ/modenasilver.jpg http://www.tokyotekki.com/IMAGES/MINIZ/f355red.gif http://www.tokyotekki.com/IMAGES/MINIZ/f40yellow.gif Here's a custom modena I did... http://www.tokyotekki.com/IMAGES/CUSTOM/blue1.jpg
