Yipee!! Just started my sub to FORZA. Can't believe the lady indicated it takes four to six weeks for the magazine TO GET HERE. At first I thought she said it would take 4 - 6 weeks for my subscription to get started, but she actually did mean four to six weeks for it to arrive once its mailed out. They send it out second class mail from Kentucky!!

Regards.

I get everything, but when Road & Track arrives, I immediately sit down and read Peter Egans, Side Glances. The best to come along since Henry Manney.

Same list as everyone else here. Best are Forza, FML, R&T. I agree C&D is losing it: they have shown a strong preference for the auto trans variants of what they are testing lately.

I read Sports Car International cover to cover, refreshingly focused on sports cars and not SUVs, etc.

Also has anyone else mentioned Rosso Ferrari? Available free to owners, an infrequent but stunningly beautiful publication. The official publication of FNA.

Also Griot's and Victoria's Secret

Andreas....I also HATE the Maser coverage in Forza. HATE it.

If I wanted info on Masers, I would order a Maser magazine. I DON'T LIKE MASERS, AND DON'T WANT THAT CRAP IN MY MAGAZINE. And the fact that they just put the Maser info in Forza without considering what the readers want.....

Sorry for my rant....I feel better now.

LOL at Horsefly's magazine preferences!

The trick with reading mags for free is not to frequent the same mag store everytime. Always randomize the shops when trying to steal a read.

I agree with Daniel. Look at Sports Car Market mag for a very thoughtful and careful analysis of car values and conditions as various marques come up at auction. Lots of Ferraris. It's published in Tacoma I believe and Keith Martin is the editor. Don.

My friend Birdie works at a book store; any magazines i have are free; magazines would otherwise be an unwelcome expense in my budget. She tries to bring me all the issues of Forza, all the issues of The duPont Registry and pretty much anything with a Ferrari on it or in it... i also have a collection of various BMW magazines; Bimmer, BMW, etc. Road & Track, Car & Driver and others of a similar nature are always in my pile if they have Ferraris or other exotics in them... Others would include Evo, Car, Auto Italia and a few racing magazines... i have other magazines, too, but not about cars... :-)

All the usuals listed Forza, Prancing Horse, R&T, etc..

Must add that I just purchased my first issue of EVO at Barnes & Noble last week. I have enjoyed reading it cover to cover.

I am not sure if many Americans are aware of this magazine. I highly recommend it.

I subscribe to all of these but...

These I read cover to cover immediately upon receipt:
1. Cavallino
2. Ferrari Market Letter
3. Forza

And these I probably wouldn't notice if they forgot to send me an issue:
4. Road & Track
5. Car & Driver
6. Automobile
7. Auto Week

And these I look through and will buy if they have an article of interest:
1. Thoroughbred & Classic Car
2. Classic & Sportscar
3. Vintage Motorsport

And, like an idiot, I eventually buy all back issues of Prancing Horse when I could just join FCA for less $.

Oh yeah, just for fun, I also browse through Turbo, Import Tuner and Sports Compact Car and laugh at the ridiculously made-up Japanese cars and 'rice rockets'.

Especially at that GReddy (or was it APEXi) Hyundai Accent, LOL!

(Yes, I know Hyundai is Korean, which makes it even sadder IMO).

I try to buy every issue of Forza, but for the rest, I just read through them at the magazine stands.

Normally, I'd read Autocar (both local and UK versions), Road & Track, Car & Driver, Motor Trend, Excellence, Sports Car International, Car & Car Conversions, Torque, Auto/Motor Trader, AutoSport, F1 Racing, F1 Magazine, EVO, Car, Classic and Sports Car magazine, and any other car mags they came up these days. All at the magazine stands.

1- Classic & Sportscar. My favorite. Mostly complete back to 1982,
2- Thoroughbred & Classic Car.
3- Road & Track. Have complete back to 1947.
4. Car & Driver. Have complete back to 1955 (inc. Sports Cars Illustrated.
5. Sports Car International. Mostly complete back to 1958 (Sports Car Graphic).
6. Forza (just started buying recently).
7. International Wrist Watch.

In addition, I have most issues of Supercar Classics, which ceased publication in 1991, and hundreds of others that catch my eye. I am fortunate (?) to have a really good magazine store in my area, and I NEVER throw anything away. I wish all of these were indexed in some way!

I also have Automobile Year complete from #1 through #40, and International Auto Parade from #1 through #11, and World Car Catalog from the Sixties and Seventies, and and and and...

I love books and magazines!

Forza
