It is a bit tight for Sal not too bad for me. My 14 year old daughter perfers the back "Where the Queen sat." as she puts it. Driving it is like driving a time machine. The mechanicals are a work of art. This spring I'll take you for a ride.
Best

I love your Duesenburg at WWoC, even without wheels. Seems very cramped in the front though.

Jim-
That muffler is insane!! I have been following your P4 posts and I must say that, that automobile is going to be an abosolutely drop-dead gorgeous car when it is completed. Just imagine how it is going to sound!!

This photo was taken at WWOC. The F40 isn't mine. That beauty is owned by a friend.
I am amazed at how many Duesey parts are still availible and how helpfull people such as Brian Joseph, are in providing them and talking us through this restoration. People who love cars and share their knowledge make it possible for all of this to go on. Sal had this muffler made using one that had rusted out as a guide. As in all things Sal does, he makes it look like it should, not too new, not too perfect.

Who James, as F40 and a Duesy, must be nice to be able to afford those. What other cars do you have in your garage. Are the parts for your Duesenberg more or less expensive than for Ferrari? I'm guessing more cause you probally have to have them custom made, since the cars aren't maufactured any more.

Here's a photo of my Duesenberg muffler which we just rebuilt. It's almost as tall as the F40 in the background!
